For those ordering the grab bag of pins through here: http://www.mousepinsonline.com/tp40/Application.asp?app=Store01&C=1489

I don't know if you care but alot of those pins are not real disney pins. They are alot cheaper and the cast members are able to accept them but we take them to the back and change them for new ones. If you don't care if they are real than that is a good price. However if you want real one the are$2 each on ebay.

It squirts out just like whipped cream would. BATTER BLASTER It is super easy to use and no mess to clean up. Just heat the pan up and you are ready to go. Kids really like it and it makes mornings easier for me. Hey anything that means we can eat more pan cakes is a great thing! Two thumbs way up from me! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

this stuff looks good!

Are you going to try and find one of the caches on Castaway Cay? That could be a find adventure.

Pj

That is my plan and one of the driving forces behind trying to go paperless. I've got one of those on my watchlist and have been watching as people find it and post their comments. Might even start a travel bug there and see where it goes.

My problem is, I don't really need a phone. I just thought it was cool the way you could see the pictures. Actually, after my motorola flip phone I had before, I went low tech on the replacement phone. No camera, no flip, no text. Just a basic phone. It keeps dying on me..probably dropped it too many times. I just don't want to spend the money on an Iphone and have the larger bill. BUT, I still really want the phone...see my dilemma. It's not necessary but still. I work hard. I know that once this phone goes, I'll end up with the iphone. (maybe thats why it gets dropped so much...oops)
Keep on posting your good times with the iphones. I don't need much more prodding, but it helps!

Forgot to mention - iPhone does not receive MMS messages. I cannot get attachments on my phone. Right now - DD is clamoring for me to take her to the store so can't explain what mms is right now that is a downfall but I can receive pictures if its included in the body.

Still don't let that detract. The text messaging is great. International Roaming is $5.99 a month just in case your interested. Cost me $20 might have been $30 for a one time activation fee so that's not a surprise. But it worked wonderfully on the Magic. I got World Traveller hence my DH put on my voicemail - Laura E - World Traveller! :thumbsup2

Oooops - she's really mad - gotta go

I told you guys it would be the next thread before I got these posted . . .

One of the gifts Sophia got yesterday was a painting set (acrylic) and she has set up a still life she wants to paint on the canvas that came with it. Daddy helped her draw the fruit.

Oh, and today, she got her American Girl stuff from Mom and Dad. A new bed, and several new outfits.

John1, looks like Sophia had a good time! Notice the little boys heads are sweaty....won't want to be the one driving them home! :lmao: I remember that little boy sweat smell in my car! One thing I don't miss. :rotfl:

Anybody else watching the new Big Brother?

I'm really not liking anyone in this group. Usually there is someone you start liking early on but not this season. Way too much whining - even for BB!!!

My understanding is that they do give a Costco giftcard.

I think the card ends up being about 7-10% of the fare of the cruise. I think that normally Costco rebates more than DU, but when DU was doing double credits for the Panama cruises they were higher.

I think we're set on excursions now. We're mostly doing things on our own and mostly quiet beach/shopping days.

1. Castaway Cay: Just beaching it. Maybe renting bikes. DH and the boys will definitely go sailing if there is enough wind. It was too calm last time we were there.

2. Aruba: Going to the beach. Might book a room at the Hyatt with DH's points if it doesn't cost us too many points. Although DH is spending the week in Chicago next week, so more Hyatt points. :thumbsup2

3. Acapulco: We just can't seem to get excited about Acapulco, but we'll definitely want off the ship after so many days at sea. Probably going to CiCi Waterpark.

4. Puerto Vallarta: Booked the Los Veranos Canopy Tour through Puerto Vallarta Tours. I haven't used that tour company before but they got good comments on Tripadvisor and they have a "no port-no pay" cancellation policy for most of their tours, including the canopy tour.

5. Cabo San Lucas: Taxi to Medano Beach. Suggestions on where to head on this beach??? It looks like it goes for quite a stretch.

Are the $2 on that site real? They sure seem to be advertised as real Disney pins. It is so hard for those of us who don't trade alot and usually just buy from Disney to know this stuff. Easy to rip me off! :sad2:

All I did was to get on an airplane to come home (to a dead battery in my car at the airport lot...:headache: )

And you guys get thrown off another thread!!!

Now how am I going to catch up with all the Smarties advice I missed out on?????

I wish I had known this prior to spending my $60. Oh well. Do you think it would be bad taste to have the kids trade them?

I ordered some for Molly to keep, they look just like the hidden mickey pins we've gotten before. :sad2:

The $2 pins are the real cast lanyard hidden mickey pins!!! And in the grab bags I've had very few propins which are the old disney trading pins! They were the company Disney used before they started making them themselves! So they are all legitimate but the old propins are not the fancy new ones Disney sells!! But again, yes, the $2 pins are the "real" deals!! Hope this helps clarify it!!!

And Gary does work with Disney on all his deals when he buys out the pins from companies! I've talked to him many times about this!! He's actually an insurance investigator and his wife is an attorney!! Just some background for you!!! And no they're not my relatives!! I just have usually ordered them over the phone with him and he is a talker and a HUGE Disney fan!!!

Anyways, hope this helps!!!

Okay sigh of relief. I feel better thanks for the extra details. I read the site info and it sounded real. Of course a faker would/could sound real too of course.

When I get them I'll report back on the actual feel of what I get.

I was going to order from this company too. Nan...let me know what you think after you get them.

Who had someone on ebay that they usually buy pins from? I haven't found the one I used yet, it has been almost a year.

Thanks for the clarification. I see they have a line of propins. So, they were the Disney Pins before Disney Pins were the Disney Pins, right?
