Word has it that no additional times for booking at 75 days will be available. We are first time cruisers and very disappointed at the moment. With 12 days before we can book anything by DCL we are now trying to decide what we will be doing. My son was looking forward to certain excursions, (pirate boat, sea lion swim, canopy zip line. . .) Hopefully he will take it in stride, he might even be fine with beach days.

It takes a while to retrieve a reservation even if the site is working fine!!!

I went shopping today and bought a new T (no fishes on it though ) and a pair of capris. Thought I better at least start looking for some new stuff for this cruise. I'd like to lose a little weight before then, so don't want to buy too much yet, but if I don't lose and don't buy anything now I know I'll be really stessed when it gets even closer. Still haven't been to the gym but I did have to shovel snow 3 times in the last week, and at an hour each time these were pretty good workouts

Ladies, for formal night, I was planning on wearing a dress I already own, it's knee length. Am I going to look out of place Do most of you wear floor length? DDD+D (well, actually just DDD for this question ) what's everyone wearing?

I might be in a short skirt as I don't 'do' dressy very well and I'm not sure how I will go about finding something in April anyway. I think the most dressy I will do will be a long black skirt and a couple of more dressy tops.

Do you think DCL will ever learn from their mistakes. I have a feeling we will be going through the same mess on our EBPC excursion booking.

Well we are hoping that all our letters/emails will encourage them to get theings better organised for you.

I've been SO unbelievably tired today and yesterday, so I'm rushing to upload more Bobby Banana pics to photobucket so I can get them posted to his thread and then head to bed. Ok everyone...

This is my latest story... (& I'm sorry to rant, but right now, I'm pretty alone in this...

First I have to note that I don't get along with my father... VERY bad divorce and I was the one child out of the 4 that was left behind... (the others were older and in college or on their own... I was the only one at home...)

After a very bad incident whereas his wife threw a fit and went after me (for something that was so silly and foolish - I took my nephew to McDonalds and she was serving hamburgers for dinner...) and threw me out of the house... Ever since then my father and I have had a strained relationship. I had panic attacks and pains in my chest for the last 28 years so I decided to have my own life. I am very cordial and respectful when I am in his company - he turns things around and tells his version of things and I end up on the bad side of things...

So... last Thursday my brother calls my mom... They don't call me, because they think that I'm the one that left dad... and they blame me... He tells her that dad had surgery to remove a cyst... I come down to TX to visit my sister and she tells my mother - not me... that it is cancer, but that they don't know what the treatment will be.

He's 77 this year. Has more heart problems than Dr. Oz could find... along with many other health issues.

So... I've spent the last 2 nights crying because I am afraid that if I have to go to his funeral/services, whatever... someone is going to blow up at me (I do not intend to cause a scene...but I don't trust my stepmother...)

So I'm feeling pretty crappy about all of this.

Sorry I had to rant... I just don't have too many people to talk to about it...

I'm so sorry you have suffered so long over this and you have no support. Rant away.

I think our 10-11 year olds are not in those size ranges anymore.

true, my daughter had it and now it is too small Cinderella Dress - beautiful but no more size left now last size was 7 to 8!! No more princess dress but i think she is grown up now.

Now I am off to make scrapbooking with my daughter but trouble is I cannot remember where I put it I am annoying now.

Change the plan today, Make the card for husband 40th and door sign today. Something to do with Olivia. She love craft!!

She had lost lots of weight.

No gym, she change her foods from junk food to 5 fruits & Veg.

Guess what she played Wii and she lost lost of weight.

I should have try that wii as my husband said that new thing called fit daily, If I play it If I feel enough, If I press stop then it won't back until next day!!

I have not try it yet maybe I should because I want to lose some weight.

OK the bad news is here is lots and lots of SNOW!!! It started yesterday about 2pm and hasn't stopped. Its about two feet currently and growing.... DH had to call work back and say "No Way Jose!" call some guy that can get out !

Thanks - yes - trip insurance was purchased when we booked - the first day - with an 87 year old Mother, trip insurance is now a way of life - My goal is never to use it. We never worreid, we are healty - no kids to worry aobut so we would never cancel (it does not cover cancellation due to your business). But now, a great idea....

HOWEVER - for those of you looking for it - check into the "pre-existing conditions". Some trip insurance will not cover you if for example, a family member NOW has a life-treatening condition - only if the event occurs after the purchase. I know it was very complicated when we purchased it trying to sort this aspect out.

We have DAN - great insurance for divers - in case of any incidents or accidents - covers us and the dive gear....wonder which is worth more

My friend lost her full term pregnany baby this morning, her baby should be born this week.

I feel shiver in my spine when I heard it.

I am sure you will see all types of dresses from not so dressy to very formal. I have one full length one and one knee length one that I will be wearing for the 2 nights. I think you should be fine (at least I hope so or I need to go shopping, which isn't really a bad thing )

Hi ladies - for what it is worth - we are wearing FORMAL formalwear - DH has a tux and I have a gown - hey - how often can you get dressed up. We may also wear them for Palo's. On our Eastern Cruise in 2005 we were in high seas due to Tropical Storm Gamma - suffice to say very few brave souls enjoyed that day, even crew (Not to worry for the PC Crossing cruise). So,everyone had an impromptu formal night on their Paolos night when the seas were calmer.

Thanks Kaylee I've got two knee length dresses that I think will be okay then. I hate to buy something that I might not wear again...of course if I bought a long one maybe I'd just have to book another cruise so it wouldn't go to waste
