Trust me girlfriend...you will NOT hate it. They'll be prying your hands off the railing when it's time to leave! :rotfl:

I already know. I cry when we leave every vacation. I mean weekend getaways and all! I can't even imagine.

Nothing on tv, glad the writers are back, I only have 80 hours on my tivo, it sux that it will go on while we are on the trip.

I have my work paying for my internet! Cause I have to work a couple of days, but at least thats free.

BTW, my daughter doesn't like to get dressed up. No princess dresses for her. Although, maybe I can get her to do it if I get her hair done on board. We'll have to see if they will do the kids hair too.

I have never been on a cruise before but I am sure they will do anyone's hair for enough money!!

We are going to get her hair cut this weekend. Thankfully, she has agreed to that! She gets these big knots on the back of her head and then whines when I comb it out.

I found a kitty sitter. Thank my neighbor. She has agreed to come over each day and let her in and out. I feel bad that she'll be all alone, but she's not too friendly so when we get back from vacation, she's always clingy. I like it!

BTW, does anyone have any idea what the tips will be? On our med cruise, I found out that you can't tip the kids club people. They have to share even if you have a favorite. Unless you slip it to them. But I didn't do that...(nooooo) I did leave the over 21's some presents to get them through the nights! haahahahaha

What kind of hair does she have? I used to get really big Knots in my hair and my mom had to deep condition my hair when I was really young. She also braided it before I went to bed. I have frizzy, thick hair that isn't curly or straight. I think it is horrible but I get a lot of compliments on it.

I heard phone cards but do they really want that?

But next time you go on a DCL cruise, you'll be a CC member!!!! ;)

So I get to join everyone else in the floating Blue Fishy thing CLUB!!! :scared1:

yes that might be true but your attorney, John, his paralegal Holly and his accountant, moi, will be rich filthy rich :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

What... no personal Assistants???? If you're going to take me for my very last penny... HEY... PJ... She's Penny!!!

Never mind...

I'm bringing DVD's and some candy for them... I hear that they use books and DVD and trade with other CM's

That's a good idea. I'm going to write that one down in my little book of Disney tricks.

She has thin hair. It gets tangled up so easily. I braid it after her showers, but she hasn't discovered her inner girl yet. So we've agreed that she'll have to take a shower every other day. I wish she would take one every day, but soon she won't like to be dirty. A mom can hope though...................

That is a good idea. Some of the cms told me phone cards, but they can be complicated. Alot of them need international. On my last cruise, a woman gave out day planners. They were nice and everyone said they liked them. I brought alot of sf magnets, since they work on the doors.

I don't know how old she is but I was in 7th grade before I decided to take a shower every day and I'm pretty sure that was only because the perm was in style and I had no choice! If she has thin hair, you should probably cut it. It's probably too long and that's why it tangles. I had a friend that just cut her 7 year olds hair for the first time and she says she wishes she would have done it earlier. And it looks a lot better too.

Ok everyone...

This is my latest story... (& I'm sorry to rant, but right now, I'm pretty alone in this...

First I have to note that I don't get along with my father... VERY bad divorce and I was the one child out of the 4 that was left behind... (the others were older and in college or on their own... I was the only one at home...)

After a very bad incident whereas his wife threw a fit and went after me (for something that was so silly and foolish - I took my nephew to McDonalds and she was serving hamburgers for dinner...) and threw me out of the house... Ever since then my father and I have had a strained relationship. I had panic attacks and pains in my chest for the last 28 years so I decided to have my own life. I am very cordial and respectful when I am in his company - he turns things around and tells his version of things and I end up on the bad side of things...

So... last Thursday my brother calls my mom... They don't call me, because they think that I'm the one that left dad... and they blame me... He tells her that dad had surgery to remove a cyst... I come down to TX to visit my sister and she tells my mother - not me... that it is cancer, but that they don't know what the treatment will be.

He's 77 this year. Has more heart problems than Dr. Oz could find... along with many other health issues.

So... I've spent the last 2 nights crying because I am afraid that if I have to go to his funeral/services, whatever... someone is going to blow up at me (I do not intend to cause a scene...but I don't trust my stepmother...)

So I'm feeling pretty crappy about all of this.

Sorry I had to rant... I just don't have too many people to talk to about it...

Also... alot of the CM's have cell phones so they don't use the cards as much...

Someone suggested WAlmart gift cards because they can use them near Port Canaveral...

Remember that heart picture box idea I was gonna do for Wil, well I bought the box of candy....I think I'll get out the pictures and tell him we can craft it together. That will be fun, won't it? I'm such a good idea maker but a bad idea completer.....:rolleyes1
