Just keep checking back starting at the 75 day mark. Also, if you know exactly what you are looking for, post it here on the boards. Alot of times, if someone is thinking of cancelling, they can coordinate with you so you can take over the excursion. Also, they hold out some, sometimes, and if you check as soon as the excursion desk opens once on board, you can get it booked. Also, in any case, go to the excursion desk and ask them to be "waitlisted" so in case anyone cancels, you can have their spot. It has worked for us in the past.

We will be there at the 75 day mark, just 11 days away! We are going over several alternatives.

Don't give up! People do cancel excursions and you can always go to the excursion desk once on board. In regards to the pirate sail in PV, that boat will be in dry dock, so they should have never offered it as an excursion. The sea lions were sold out before the 90 mark, which I don't understand...guess all the cat 1-3 people got them. We wanted that but went with the dolphin excursion...which is currently open in three ports. The zipline is sold out in both ports, but openings may pop up. You just gotta keep checking. I understand the disappointment though, we went through it too and had to adjust.

We are working on our alternatives. We definitely won't give up. Tough waiting for the 75 day mark. We are hoping not to have the issues that came up at the 90 day mark.

No self-respecting Princess I know would wear it. And if she would, I would not pay for it. Too loud.

Princesses are delicate, feminine and colorful but in a subtle, gentle way.

When I first saw it, I thought it was a wall hanging and thought it was garish. When I scanned down and saw it was an outfit and a kid was in it, I wondered what they had to bribe her with to put it on and pose for photos. Never know when those photos will embarrass her on the internet in the future.

We're actually going with beach days/poking around town for most days. I always get excited about all the different excursions, but frankly the kids get exhausted from an all-day excursion and are happy if they just get off the ship for a couple of hours.

We had a family discussion over dinner tonight. Son is fine with beach days. I think you have a point, he will be happy to be off the boat. Wife wants to be able to walk around town a bit for shopping, and does not want to be out all day either. We're going to sit down this weekend and look at alternatives, so no worries! Wife does want a dinner at Palo's to celebrate our anniversary, but that seems to feasible.

You know, it just bothers me that this is so screwed up at DCL...

They've been through this before... they've been to these ports...

It should have been planned better.

If you can order tickets to a hot concert and not have the computers go down (Ok... so Ticketmaster has better computers...) DCL should be able to handle 1 cruise worths of ressies and excursions....

& I haven't even been able to get one to try and get anything. If I get shut out... I'm going to be MAD!!!

Okay, here's a question: I notice an address for shipping stuff to the port ahead of time. What kinds of things do people ship? Your luggage? Your Formal clothes? I'm just curious.

Since you can't ship your liquor, I guess it makes sense to send your luggage ahead and carry on the booze! (well, buy it in Florida, then carry it on. It would certainly make the flights easier with no luggage!

I know how you feel, I am disappointed as well but it is probably a little better for me because we didn't have anything set in stone. We are thinking of doing some beach stuff too. Our kids are young so they would be happy with anything. Maybe next time we should go on a cruise that doesn't have as many CC members! But then we wouldn't know all these nice people.

But next time you go on a DCL cruise, you'll be a CC member!!!!

We were thinking the same thing. My DH asked me "if we were going to Aruba on our own what would we do". We would sit on the beach and do "excursions" on our own. I feel bad that this is a Disney cruise and this is happening but I feel fortunate that we have so many people that have already been on a Disney cruise to tell us what to expect. I have a friend going on one of the 7 day Mexican Riviera cruises and she knows nothing that I haven't told her. The thread that she is involved in is mostly new people. So let's be happy together!

I'm not the keeper of the master list for fish extenders (I don't think!). I am keeping a list of teams and people that want to be a part of a team. I know my PM box is full, and I need to ask for a few days since I have been out of town. I will be able to get to this soon - and if anyone would prefer to take over, please feel free. I have no set ownership on it! But I'm happy to continue and finalize the teams. I think my March 1st, the teams should all be set and anyone joining after then, will need to do it on their own. It will be difficult for me to keep rearranging teams. Does anyone have thoughts on that?

Hi Lisa-Deb meant me. I'm keeping up the master list. Earlier today I PM'd you with several DISers who've recently indicated they'd like to join teams, so you should find that in your PM box. In a few days I'll also send you a list of DISers who've indicated that they think they're on a team so that you can double check it against your team list and make sure everyone is where they think they should be.

Nothing on tv, glad the writers are back, I only have 80 hours on my tivo, it sux that it will go on while we are on the trip.

I have my work paying for my internet! Cause I have to work a couple of days, but at least thats free.

BTW, my daughter doesn't like to get dressed up. No princess dresses for her. Although, maybe I can get her to do it if I get her hair done on board. We'll have to see if they will do the kids hair too.
