Has anybody doing the cliff divers on their own heard back from LaPerla? If not can you please pm me with the # in your group and I am going to call them about ressies. $15 per adult 2 drinks included, kids whatever the cost of a drink is.

Yes, sad is it, as Noel is lovely and good chatting, oh well wonder why? I hope they are okay.

Marilyn - I got emailed from DCL and DU. They were very nice and asked me if want any help.

I get over now and feel much better now as Sunday was terrible morning is it!!

I'm very sad about Noel and John and would like to know what happened.
I haven't had a reply to my email to DCL, but I only sent it off yesterday afternoon.

Hello all!

I was wondering if anyone out there had a young one that wanted to be e-mail penpals with my DD5? We've done this the past couple of cruises and it added to her excitement to converse with someone and the n FINALLY getting to meet on the ship!

There are a few folk here with children around that age. They will be around later!!!

I haven't had an email back Gydell. Have you?

Have we decided on a time to go? I guess 1pm is too late for a reservation if that is the time we dock - unless it is actually 12md there of course!!!!:confused3 :lmao:

John and Holly,

I haven't seen "Snow Day" yet. I would go out and rent it, but as fate would have it, we are having a snow day. Ironic isn't it.:lmao:

I am armed with my shovel, I await the gleep. :sad2:

Cork

That would be hysterical and even more so to see how many people know exactly what your point is! You could title it: "Remember this Magic?"

Great Caption. I wonder how many groans I would hear coming through the door as people passed by? :rotfl:

My husband was a teacher for 27 years and dreamed of having a now day, but in the years when we last had decent snow he worked at a residential special school and just had to get there!!! It was almost time to come home by the time he arrived!!!

Just the winter before he had to retire on health grounds he had his one and only snow day! :lmao:

I am caught up!! But I know I won't be for long. My heard drive crashed on my laptop last night. Luckily, I do not own that computer, it belongs to my company. I had to drive this afternoon to one of our computer service areas...100 miles from my home. YUCK...that is when I found out the hard drive was gone.

Of course, I had not backed it up at all.....so my bosses boss was thrillede to hear it would cost $1000 to recover the data.....I guess I will find out if I am worth it to them:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

While the group was working on getting all the company software loaded on a new laptop for me.....my Blackberry stopped working :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

So i go in and ask the guy working on my stuff....if a bad hard drive could cause me problems on this new Blackberry....he laughed at me......until he looked at all these BIG RED X's on my screen.....He was like :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Then the news came across that the RIM BLackberry satellite was not working (broke at 3:30pm) and all of North America had no Blackberry service!!

My life is run by technology....:headache: :headache: :headache: :headache:

Don't these things happen in threes?

With the disney computer snafu, your laptop and the blacberry problems, I think you are through your run of three.:)

Wow, this thread is a little overwhelming, so I thought I'd jump right in. We're flying down on Friday night the 9th and are staying at the Hyatt MCO.

I had the same problems Saturday night as everyone else. I had wanted Palo high tea, but it was gone by the time I managed to get in at 5:30 AM.

I did book dinner at Palo. I also booked the harbor cruise and the outdoor adventure.

So, I'm a bit overwhelmed by everything going on with this cruise. I haven't really thought much about it until final payment was due.

I don't even know where I should begin! What should I be joining in with? I am in desperate need of some planning assistance!:scared1:

From a former Chicagoan area person, WELCOME. My folks still live there!

I love Woodfield Mall. :welcome:

So who is doing the PV city Tour? Thinking about that one.

Just been playing around with reservations, and noticed that Noel and John are now OFF our linked reservations. Looks like they are definitely not coming then.

They are off ours as well. I hope Carol hears something from them soon.

I have a five year old girl as well and I'm sure she would interested.

Question for those who have had a Hot Stone Massage.
Are there alot of oils and things used? I have sensitive skin and can't use alot of smelly good things.

We want to go but I thought we were not going to be there in time. We were talking about it a few days ago but maybe I missed something.

Just a quick note to say that we decided to take a different trip this year.
Cynthia & Jim

So sorry you won't be joining us, but Hawaii sounds great!

OK...

SO I GUESS I'M STILL AUNT OF THE YEAR...:hippie:

(OH, AND I BROUGHT HIM HIS FAVORITE COOKIES...) :goodvibes

Yep, I'd say so!

We're on a 7:30 PM flight out of Chicago, so we aren't scheduled to land until 11:30 PM.

What's going on for breakfast?

- Also we're on the 8:30 AM Harbor Tour and also the early Outdoor Adventure , the same as Monica (Mishoe01).

No plans for breakfast, though long ago someone mentioned organizing a group breakfast thru the Hyatt. I think I'm going to set aside a wad of money for room service that morning. I'm an early riser (unless we party in the hotel lounge too long), so I'll want some tea and a bit of something early on so I can have plenty of room for lunch on the ship.

I'm keeping a list for the Harbor Tour...how many in your party?

.

Good Morning Folks

What is the new RR Tasting I saw in a thread????

Is there a place for checking in on excursion threads? I was wondering who else will be on our zip line???

On my planning I saw a page for the number of cruise ships in port on any given day. I believe for Aruba - the port I was reseaching last night - Disney was the only cruise - so I would hope the tours would not leave without us....

.

The RR referes to Banfi Rosa Regale and Italian sparkling wine. We'll have some at the champagne tasting, and I'm getting some for personal use also. It IS available on the ship at about $40 a bottle (just a smidge over half that if you buy it elsewhere)

KrisannB is compling information for an excursion page being put on pjpoohbear's website. So PM her with your Palo bookings and excursions.

Glad to see we are the only ship in Aruba, as Monica and I are planning an excursion on our own that has an 8:15 pick up time at the port.

Well, caught up and time to hit the shower, though I'd rather go back to bed!

.....later kids...

I emailed them quite awhile ago and have not received a response. I signed up through DCL for the excursion.

I would think you would be fine going for the 10 am one. The 11 would just make me too nervous, like you said. Our zip tour starts at 8am, so I am sure the 10am one would be fine for you.

I booked the independant tour to do the ziplining. I booked the 10am, because I was afraid of getting back in time also. It looks like we just have to get up early to be one of the first off the ship. It will be me and my husband. They say it is a 5 min cab ride to the office. I think it will be fine. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for the input. I feel much better now about booking the 10:00 am. With an arrival time of 7:30 am I didn't think it would be any problem to make that tour, but the message from the tour operator made it sound like I was going to be cutting it close. Now I'd better get it booked, so we don't miss out. We're excited about doing this.
