I called my other disney freak friend to tell her my good news! She was so excited for me. Most other people don't care. Anti-Disney freaks! I am so excited, I haven't come down yet! All the problems last night are fading fast. They have definately made up for it with this.

So thank you to all of you for being the supreme dissers you are. As they say Resistance is Futile!

You know I talked to my best and oldest friend (have known him since I was 1 year old... and I asked him if he'd like to go to WDW with me in Oct - my treat and his answer was "you and your Disney..." (of course I did drag him kicking and screaming to see Mary Poppins on Broadway last year...

okay suffer alone, but it won't be nearly as much fun as we had last night/morning telling each other of our sorrows. And don't ask for pity from me

We just won't do 95 pages by morning... (maybe...) I did buy Smarties tonight...

Are you sure you want to take this on Nan....it's going to be a lot of work. I'll support you if you want to take the lead here. I'm just not up to doing it myself and I don't have the space.

I'm sure Karen would want us to have the party. I just didn't see how we could do it without her.

Nan, it's your party then and I'll help you in whatever way I can. You're the hostess and you can keep all the info and do the presentation too. Let me know what I can do to help you.

I'll host(ess) can you hold the list??? We have a date already right, don't remember, but Linda will tell us, or we can see it on pjs calendar, huh?

I like the idea of rose regale (sp) too, so we'll morph it into whatever works or a couple of things. I'm a California wine snob, so I can handle the talking points with NO problem (ha like ya didn't know that already)

I'm just hoping to get that call for the Cat 3 then we can have some more breathing room for just us

OK Good. You host and talk....I'll keep the list....not a problem. We have NOT picked a date yet. So maybe you want to do that. Then we can put it on the calendar. Champagne and Rose Regale Girls.....it works for me. Then I think everybody will be happy.

If you get the upgrade, even better. If not, maybe we should consider having it outside by the pool. Just a thought.

How about we do it with the champagnes that Disney already has??? They even have Dom Perignon.... I know pricey, but divide it by 40 and we all get a sip??? I'll help if you need... I LOVED Domaine Chandon in Napa... I missed getting the "I can do 10 winerys in 10 minutes" t-shirt cause my friend wouldn't stop for me... oh well...

I also changed our cabo stuff to 8:30am, yes I'll wake up. I realized that we can sleep in for ~10 days on the ship, so the port days we have to buck up and wake up early.

Paul and I just talked about Wilson needing to get to bed at a reasonable time to make it fun for us as a family, and yes he said he'd put him to bed and I can go out and PLAY with my girl friends This is gonna be such a great trip that's me wearing my sunglasses at night, so I can so I can....here come the 80s

I am really happy! He keeps talking about it all the time since he saw the video on the computer I was watching. He is four and is just getting more bold in the things he is willing to do. He has seen me looking at Disney Cruise stuff a lot lately so he knows something is up. He keeps asking if we can go on Disney cruise line tomorrow. I say no not tomorrow later. He says ok but he asks again the very next day. I think this will be repeated daily until we go on the cruise.

Well, no late nights for me for awhile . . . with mama gone, I need to lay down with Sophia. She misses her mommy.

I am off tomorrow, and am wondering if school will be closed due to the extreme cold. Need to get up early and check. Most of the private schools in the area have already announced closings.

Hugs for Sophia from DrHug and I. It is tough when either parent is gone for awhile.

I am not planning on using my cell phone. However the neighbor is watching our dogs wants to get a hold of us. Will have e-mail on the ship, anyone have a good rate for cheap cell phones. I have sprint charging $1.49 a min in Mexico.

Sorry, no. Just got the note in the mail on Thursday and since it was going to CA from OH it won't get to her until this week sometime. I did see where they weren't PIF yet, though. It may just be the of us couples at dinner. They should keep us linked even if Noel doesn't come.

Now that this fiasco is pretty much over, I have to tell you what we did yesterday evening. In about two weeks we will have a new addition to our family. We are getting a male, miniature long haired Dachshund. He is black and tan and will be 6 weeks old tomorrow. I took some pictures and will post them as soon as I can. He is really cure.

I need some help now, though, I would kind of like to name him a Disney name but haven't really found one I liked. I had a male sheltie that we lost a few years ago and his name was Jiminy Cricket, JC for short. If anyone can come up with anything we would love some ideas.

Thought I would share a few pics from our "Excursion booking night" here at home.

Here is Shannon early on in the evening. Note she is still all smiles ..

My DD(soon to be)3, Kaleigh, is getting just as frustrated at the fishes as her dad was..

My DD6, Shaelyn, has had enough and is getting on the phone to Disney to get this straightened out.

A little later in the evening (or was it morning at this point??) and Shannon isn't smiling anymore...

Shortly afterwards, everyone left me on my own to stay up until 2:30am PT to get everything done.

Hey - I that song, I think I went to the wrong high school. Not that many people cared for that song around here - guess I was always a bit different.

And speaking of big hair - went to mass today and saw a young man with a BIG punk mohawk hairdo. Now am I the only one that thinks this is just plain wrong? Did I mention it was pink? And yes - I did say young man.
