I was thinking 5:15...but I think you are right....

When we cruised on the Magic last November, the safety drill was scheduled for 4:00 p.m. All ship services were suspended between 3:30 to 4:30.

Lisa, lists for each of the days have already been faxed. You are on those lists. I think we should just let Kim (Kimeric) and PJ sort out who is and is not interested and go ahead as planned. Noel will help her if she comes back, otherwise you could work with Kim to make sure there is not overlap from a list you create and one that is already done. Make sense??

Yeah, Angie overlapped on my list request last year and now I don't like her so much, .

I think in the suites they will loose their deposit. I would think DCL would try to contact them before canceling.

I spoke to them about this, no extensions, if a suite is not PIF, it's over.

We did not get called for the Cat.2, I did speak to them ahead of time, to verify.

Couldn't get John to have a massage though he would have liked the spa villa - until he saw the cost!!!

I plan on the spa villa, we did it before. It was the BEST!!! I think I should have at least 2 massages in 2 weeks.

So, I added my spa today.

Does anyone think, if you are taking the bus from WDW, will I make a 4:30pm spa on the first day?

I couldn't add any more palos. It says it's all booked up. In fact it's very weird. It says ressies available, select your party and then it comes up for each day, no ressies available. Very strange!

That could be because I booked you, Dano. You can only have one of each booked. If you want to change let's call DCL to do it, because I think if we move it around on the web we'll lose something.

Well, I booked through the website, and I would hope that they would not let you book a spa during the drill or at least not let me reschedule on board and this would definately be their fault. If the spa should be closed during the drill, then they should not accept reservations. If kids club closes before I am done, then I'll have tay come up to the spa and wait in the waiting area. I'll call dcl later and see what they say. I love the spa I booked. (ionic cellulite reduction). It evens out my skin look and makes me look less unappealing in my bathing suit . It's a great thing to have the first or 2nd day early on.

So we booked:
Stingray 11am Castaway
Aruba: Jeep on our own.
Acapulco: Dolphin Encounter 12:45 (a suprise for tays bday..so ssshhh)
PV: On our own
Cabo: On our own.

My daughter had specific requests for this cruise. NO EXCURSIONS. She was exhausted after the last cruise, so I figure we'll see what happens. If she is relaxed enough on board, I can always add on board. I'm not worried about specific excursions in those 2 ports. She says she'll spend all her time at Kids Club anyways. She asked me the other day if she could check in/out on her own this time. I told her that the first day, no, but once she got the lay of the land again, sure. I have my magnetic white board ready to go for notes.

I was successful yesterday in my shopping. Found 2 dresses for my upcoming events and they'll work just fine for the ship. Off to clean and do laundry.

I'm guessing that if we are on a list headed by Noel and she hasn't PIF that they will not honor her request.

Make sure you make note of the nearly 80 years of innovation and technical progress and how this is very incongruant with a company who's vast world wide holdings where built on delivering "warm fuzzies", not frustration. Pretty pictures would gladly be traded for a white screen with black Helvatica text with reservation making options that actually work.

What is Loretta's title? Is she an Administrative assistant to someone or is she a manager? I thnk emails to Tom.Mcalpin@disney.com will be more effective as he is the head cheese. Same message. Positives we have seen at Disney for years and years, suggestions as to what would make it better for us and sincere regret that this was such a Tragic Moment that went on for over 12 hours.

Ok.... www.internic.net tells you who the contact is for any domain name. The names are assigned by ICANN:

I believe her to be the best choice of contact due to this quote from the Internic website:

I think her title is of little importance. The Government feels SHE is the one responsible for the website, it's function and it's content.


That's why I did the search. I think the head cheese has a private e-mail addy and the e-mail you posted is most likely filtered by an underling....Head cheeses can't be expected to wade through 1000's of emails from random Disney fans.

I am working on the 2 massages per week!!!

Perhaps if I ever get John to book another Disney cruise then I will be able to persuade him next time.

Thanks Nan. He finally fell asleep this afternoon for about 2 hours. Fever has been staying down to around 100, but I think he's done throwing up, so I think the worst is over. Still hasnt' got up off the couch, but he's drinking pedialyte, so that's another improvement! I'll bet tomorrow he'll finally be hungry.

You should be at the terminal by around 1 or 1:30. You will have plenty of time to eat lunch, put your stuff in your room, do the mandatory drill and then go directly to the spa by 4:30. You will miss sail away though. Is the club open at that time? They do not do a good job of coordinating child care with adult ressies....for instance, Flounders does not open until 12:30 some sea days, Palo brunches are at 10:30. We had major trouble with this in Dec with 2 one year olds, a Palo ressie, no one to take care of babies AND they charged one of the moms a no show fee at Palo even though they knew the reason she could not come. The other mom and I switched off, she went to brunch for an hour and then I went for the second hour, shoveled it in and caught up! They charged us both full. Just be aware and make sure you have coverage for your daughter. They will charge for the spa treatment if you do not cancel ahead of time.

Step, Taylor can be with us at Sailaway party no problem.

nan...i was just looking to see if the tea opened up on group day. Keep me with you, if you can, until we see what group opens. I assume you can go to palos more than 1 time per meal. I'd love to get another meal closer to the end of the trip. On one of the last sea days, a nice brunch.

I'm done with DCL though, until 2010 anyways....hahahhaha

I'm a web guy and own my own sites.

The ICANN stuff is meaningless, all it is for is if the registration fees for the domain name don't get paid, they send that contact an email.

That person has no responsability for anything other than making sure the registrars get paid every year.
