A couple of thoughts on a 4:30 spa first day.

1. After yu finish you have to right to the safety drill.....may ruin your wonderful sap feeling.

2. First day they always have great deals as you board to try and pull people in that first day.

Safety drill is at 4:15, isn't it??

I think I will start a list for a private brunch for 30 days out. I have done this many times before and have all the correct phone #'s for the folks that plan the back room.


If I can get 14 interested to book brunch on a sea day....I will try for the back room...(even if Noel does re-join...she may be too stressed to do this).

So if you want to work with me to try and get the private room for a sea day brunch...send me a PM.

And if you are in the secret porthole rooms, be aware there are workers outside your room even out in the middle of the ocean! DrHug was "um, Ang I think you should close those drapes!" Those poor young men were probably damaged for life by this granny in her undies struggling to get into something to hold it all in!

DH and I were on our Honeymoon. We were in our hotel room on the 6th floor. Our drapes were open, we overlooked a golf course, we thought we were safe.

It was early morning and we were (ahem) busy. I happened to look over and someone was washing our windows. My DH got up to close the drapes and realised it was a guy we went to high school with. He opened the window and they had a nice chat. I stayed in bed and waved as I wasn't prepared to greet him formally.

Day/times/type (this is not to connect up for seating with others but just to know who will be there when you are)

I think in the suites they will loose their deposit. I would think DCL would try to contact them before canceling.

If DCL's goal was to maximize profits, it would keep the original deposit, then re-sell the suite at a higher current price.

By Kim do you mean Kimeric? Or is there another Kim? I was only just theinking that even though I am off PJ's master list on the website, I am still on the one in for being booked in the private room if we get it. If we do then my couple reservation will be automatically cancelled which I don't want. It is just the dinner list I would like to come off.

Yes, Kimeric. There are lots of changes that need to be made to that list. Many that wanted on it have canceled the cruise, some have said, like you, that they would prefer a meal alone. Each person could only request ONE room, so Noel and Kim put together request lists and asked several of us to fax them in. I have one list. We know that the names on all the original faxed lists will have to be resorted so that we come out with 12-14 each meal. We have time since these are not worked on by DCL until 30 days out. By PJ taking you off the spreadsheet for dinner it will ALL BE GOOD.

Ok do we have to get vaccinations prior to this trip? I did not going to Europe. I just had an updated Tetanus for work. Has anyone talked to their doctor?

Vaccinations are not required.
Our MD recommended a Hep A. It can be transmitted via contaminated food.
Our tetanus is up to date

Lisa, lists for each of the days have already been faxed. You are on those lists. I think we should just let Kim (Kimeric) and PJ sort out who is and is not interested and go ahead as planned. Noel will help her if she comes back, otherwise you could work with Kim to make sure there is not overlap from a list you create and one that is already done. Make sense??

The Palo ressies will not be final with DCL until after they tell us we have the room. Once that happens the corrected/up to date lists will be submitted, those are what DCL dinning will work from for any cancellations of individual palo ressies that conflict.
