Hmmmm what date are you thinking, I looked at the calendar last night and thought about it but couldn't decide. I'm flexible, what do you think??? A sea day right???

I say we should do it during happy hour 4pm on 5/16 the PC crossing day. Most people will not have anything planned for then and it's at the end of the crossing.....tell me if you can't make it at that time. Should we invite the guys to come as well. They can be allowed into the Champagne Girls R&R Party. They can wear the gold tiaras while all the girls wear pink. That'll work for me! Ha Ha

This sucks. This kid NEEDS to go to school tomorrow or I'm going to tie him up in the closet. After a MAJOR ordeal, I managed to get some cough suppressant down his throat. I've wasted so much money on so many different kinds trying to get one that doesn't take nasty. Why can't kids just swallow it and it's done? Tiny sip, swish it around in mouth to verify that it tastes like crap, then scream about how bad it tastes and push it away from mouth for 5 minutes before giving in to another tiny sip, repeat 10 times.

I've heard, "I HATE YOU" more times today and last night than I ever have from him. He's bored, but obviously feels like crud still because of the every few seconds cough. "I'M BORED, why can't we go somewhere?" Well, because I don't want to infect the whole city! "Why can't I go play in the snow?" Um....because you're SICK!

Any ideas? Everything I offer as a suggestion gets, "I hate that!" Coloring, puzzles, games, etc. I can't think of anything else. I know! He can help me clean! Yeah, right....he'll love that.

Do we need to do something besides show up for the group photo and how do we pay for it? Through Shutter?

I noticed all special nights (tropical, pirate and mexican deck party) are on port days. Is the party after we get back on the ship or do we come back early?

Gaylean, Bunco is on the calendar. And the calendar is live as soon as I get information for an event I upload and you all can see it. By the time we are ready to leave there should be lots listed in the calendar, and if you have an ipod/mac, you can download it and add it to iCal and sync with your ipod to bring along. Also most of this information will be added to the Mini Nav's that Linda is making for us.

Ok, so now with today's zipline openings, our plans are settled:

CC-just hanging out on the beach, might get bikes (is it necessary to reserve before hand?)
Aruba-jeeps with the DIS gang
Aca-cliff divers with the DIS gang
PV-Outdoor Adventure for me; Dolphin Encounter for DH and boys (they wanted the sealions but that's been sold out and they're OK with the dolphins)
Cabo-"The Office" beach and renting jet skis

Palos Dinner on 5/13 7-9
Palos Brunch on 5/20 11:30-1:30

I also signed up to do a well being massage and a stone therapy message.

That is so funny. We are flying out together and doing nothing else the same. We are not doing any exciting excursions. My Tim picked all relaxing beach excursions. We are doing

Aruba- De palm
Aca- La Roqueta Island ( Leaving little one behind)
P.V. -Yelapa& Maja
Cabo- Resort Pool Getaway
Castaway- Bikes ( I told him to cancel bike for me because I am not riding one on Mother's Day!)
Castaway- Banana Boat

Thank goodness one of her friends finally called to ask her over. I need to leave to pick her up in a few.

All of us have been where you are. You are not selfish. If you were you would have sent him off to school or let him play in the snow. Hang in there. It sounds like he may be getting better and that is always the hardest part to deal with. Do you have any arts or craft thing that is hidden away in the closet? A movie?

Funny thing about Tyler and that type of med. Anything that makes other kids fall asleep has the opposite effect on him. He had a cough syrup with codeine a couple years ago because the cough was keeping him up all night. The doctor assured me this would knock him out instantly and he'd sleep a really long time. Well, 5 minutes after I gave it to him, he was literally RUNNING around in circles and up & down the house, acting like he was on crack or something! I've never seen a kid do the stuff he was doing and it would have been hilarious, except he was doing this until 4am! So.....NO CODEINE for Tyler! BUT, since it did stop his cough, I gave it to him in the morning before dropping him at day care and they never knew he was sick!

It said something about not taking a camera with us, which sucks. I'm taking at least a dispoable one. I'm sure they will talk pictures of us, but I want to be in control, as usual

All you do is call Verizon and tell them you want to activate international roaming on your plan (no fee for this) and then once you are done talking to them ...on your cell phone... diale *228 and press send...listen to the prompts and press 2, It will update your phone and your set!

No stuff hidden away, and we've been watching movies. I finally told him to go color in his room. Actually, first I said, "Why don't you go clean up your room?" I got "THAT'S BORING!" So I told him to go color in his room, and away he went, but from the sound, he's definitely not coloring, but that's OK...whatever he's doing is keeping him occupied, so that's fine with me!

I know I was just worried about doing anything away from DCL. I think they put that in your brain so you will pay them instead of going on your own. The only good thing about our excursions is lunch is provided in each one so I won't have to stress.
