So there are 2 formal nights? Yikes, I'll have to go shopping. I know for some, including my dd, that sounds delightful, but for me it's incredibly stressful! If I could only lose a bunch of weight before this cruise......(It seemed like it would be so easy a year ago....)

we all wish that too!!! alot of people waer the same thing for both nights or slight differences so do not stresss out if you cannot get all the clothes!!!

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself as I just signed up to this board.
This will be the third time that my sons and I have sailed on the magic. First was on the last west coast visit, then the Eastbound TA, and now we are looking forward to the Westbound PC trip. I just put down the final payment yesterday so I am now starting to plan the trip for real! What will make this trip much more memorable will be that my sons and I will be doing it without any other family members on board this time and without a girlfriend in tow. I paid for the GF's TA trip and when she got back, she said she could not take living with my sons anymore and split. (her loss) I guess I will just have to explore the "singles" lunches this time on board. Both my sons are moderate to severely developmentally delayed and have autism. Those on the EB TA may remember them as the two biggest kids (now 23 & 21) in the Oceaneer Lab running around with the 12year olds and having a blast. With luck the captain will allow them to join the other kids again and I can have some time to relax too. If not, then we will be doing a lot of walking while at sea. If anyone hears that they are dropping the "3rd in the room" price like they did on the TA, please let me know.

Look forward to meeting everyone, hopefully before the sailing date, but if not then on board.

we were on the EB TA cruise too! this cruise should be MUCH WARMER and hopefully better seas but WAY MORE CROWDED!!!! no discounts because this cruise is overbooked and sold out!



so is everyone booking the pirate cruise on their own or thru disney? i am scared to do it on my own i must admit...

When I log onto Disney in MY CRUISE RESERVATION DETAILS it only shows me and Daniel....I thought it would show all of our party??

My table mates don't show up YET, but I'm expecting them to as soon as the window officially opens.

If they don't show up at after 10PM, bookings will have to be done through the individual reservations numbers. Do you have those? Once you do yours you can 'leave' your reservation and retrieve theirs IF you have their birthdates also OR can you call them tonight and have them get on also?

No spa for us tonight. We will wait and see what port day specials they come up with.

I'm doing Palo brunch and tea, then excursions, then spas.....John is doing the hot stone massage and when I get on board I'll book the reflexology....I don't know why I can't do it in advance, but I can't.

For excursions we're doing:

CC-glass bottom boat....don't care if you don't see much, we want to be out on the water.

Aruba-jeeps and beach

Acapulco-city tour with cliff divers.....PJ and Angie aren't you doing that one?

Puerto Vallarta-Marietas Isalnds snorkel and kayak tour

Cabo San Lucas-Chileno Bay snorkeling adventure

LA-Rodondo Beach hotel on the oceanfront.....doing DL, CA, San Diego, Santa Barbara, LA sights

Las Vegas-Luxor hotel.....doing drinks and sights with threebritts/Heather and family

Red Eye home one week after debarking

I'll probably book it on my own because if you book through their website they offer a discount and it's already cheaper than DCL anyway. I'm pretty sure somebody here posted that it's docked at the same pier as the Magic, so you'd be walking over just like the folks who book it with DCL.

The last interaction she had with us was her birthday at Fridays in Orlando with Monica.......so if she's mad at us it's all Monica's fault. Ha Ha Ha

One of her dinnermates recently said they checked the dinner reservation and she was still booked.

Don't know where she is and why she has not been back on here with us. I sure do hope she is ok. I am worried. It's been too long.

I really hope I didn't do anything to make her mad....but honestly I don't think she's that kind of person. She is a lovely lady. I really hope she's ok.

We have had to make an almost impossible choice. Some of you have been pm'd already, Karen is too blue to let everyone else know.

We are not going to be able to make the Repo. Business issues are going to prevent us from going.

We have been doing everything feasible to make it work out, but it it just not possible at this time.

DOUBLE NUTS!!

The part that distresses us the most is how much we wanted to either meet everyone here, and then enjoy spending some time with everyone.

The silver lining, is that I hope that another DIS'er on the thread is in line for the Cat. 2, the call may have already been made.

We're in the process of trying to get the sparkling wine thing done by DCL, not sure if it will happen, but we'll be on the ship in spirit and maybe - holding Rum drinks at the terminal when the Magic comes home....


We'll still be in touch now and then, the next adventure is the June 20, 2009 Tortola.

I know this is so sad. I was just saying to DrHug that I don't know what I would do if we had to cancel at this point. I HOPE to be retired by cruise time, but just to hedge my bets I requested leave time for that whole month. I checked on Thursday and it was approved. We also will be sticking our income tax return and a bonus I will be getting away to replace DrHug's earnings for May, just in case. If he doesn't work he does not get paid, so I need that income stuck away just incase with the housing market being what it is.
