Who here watched Survivor the Fans vs the Favorites. I have so much to say but I'm not sure if it's safe. Let me just say I think I like the fans better, I was amazed at the outcome of the challenge and I was shocked at tribal counsel at who went home.

I don't want to say any details because someone may not have watched it yet and I don't want to spoil it.

But it's going to be a great season and I'm excited to watch and see what developes.

I prefered the favorites - love Yau Man - glad he is back again. (Fans may grow on me - really disliked Kathy - I think that is her name - she had the idol).

I was shocked at who went home and kind of dissapointed as they were one of the more interesting players.

I'm looking forward to this season as well. Looks like its going to be interesting.

love Zach, like Carrie Ann's team....
I did like the boot number last show though!:woohoo:

Oh me too......but I loved the dark horse and the cherry tree better.....but they were both awesome! It's a tough competition. It gets better every week!

Count us in. This is our first choice. We also did it back in 05.

Thats great that you want to do it again - must be pretty good.

I've wanted to see the Agave harvesting and making the tequila ever since I saw Samantha Brown's show last summer where she went to a Tequila factory. Not sure why just seemed kind of interesting.

From what they told us on the inaugural May PC repo ...

108 total "children" onboard

** 1000 is typical **

** 1200 on the August PC repo **

My kids were 3 of only 11 registered for Oceaneers Lab.

Most "children" were 0-6yrs.

Wow . . . that's a huge difference!

Part of me thinks it is great if there are fewer kids, as the kids there (like mine) will have more opportunity for the Mickey Slide, etc. Part of me is a bit sad, because I love watching all the kids, and it is one of the reasons I love cruising Disney so much.

Whenever I look over at the other cruise ships at ports, I always think it is so great to be on this ship with all these children, and not over there with so few or none.

Does anyone watch celebrity apprentice? It's soooooo good this season because they're using famous people. Most of them are like, 'yes Mr. Trump' but not this group. They're like, we don't care who you are because we're rich and famous too. So they all have attitude and take risks and speak up......no yes men on this show. It's really so much better than the regular ones.

I was watching it until Lost started. Who went home this week? Was it the person who looked like they were quitting in the commercials?

Oh I already don't like her either.

Yes Yes, exactly what I thought. They were starting trouble already and it really looked like it was going to be great.....then puff.....gone!

I'm looking forward to this season as well. Looks like its going to be interesting.

I love Yau Man too. He started fire. Great!

Prior to moving to So Cal I was living in NE PA - there if you had to 22 miles it took 25 minutes to get there. Here it takes us 45 minutes to go 19 miles to work on a good day. So we spend a heck of a lot more time in the car here. Not something I'll miss when/if we ever get to leave here.

I used to live in Jersey...just outside of NYC... traffic was a Zoo!!! an hour to go 15 miles if that!!! I moved and love being out of it. I always say...down there they don't drive...they aim!!!

Oooo I love Mary Janes and Bit O Honeys. But having a lot of crowns now has put them on my do no eat list. (along with Dots)

Those were the two things in my halloween bag I just couldn't do...

If you get seasick room service will bring you ginger ale and green apples. The green apples worked wonders in Dec when we were sailing thru 30 foot swells. Lots of sick people and the CMs were all saying eat green apples.

& if you're that sick...pay for it... anything to stop the waves...oh wait...you'e on a ship...sorry...

I am not a big candy fan . . . a little goes a real long way for me, other than dark chocolate.

Give me a bag of dark M&M's or Snocaps, and those will be gone!

BTW - had my physical the other day, and other than weight and allergies, I am healthy as a horse. Cholesterol is at 140, and all other blood work is in the desirable range.

We really like our doctor - she is about our age, owns DVC, and has been on DCL too, so we have a lot in common!

So...the Dk Chocolate M&M's in ice cream is ok...

On the Palo bookings . . .

Since they are still allowing just one per party (one dinner and one brunch, etc.) . . .

And since we have TWICE as many nights PLUS one on this cruise . . .

Don't you think it should be EASIER to get a Palo reservation?

I know if you want multiples once we get on the ship, that may be more difficult to achieve, but I keep thinking there should be twice as much availability as on a normal 7 day, and everyone should be able to be happy!

Am I thinking incorrectly somehow here?

Aren't there supposed to be less people on board, though??? I know more adults maybe, but still...

Just save me May 13th...it's mom's 76th birthday!!!

Switching up the candy talk here a bit . . .

My weakness is ice cream. Just about everything else I give up when I am eating better is not too hard, but ice cream is very difficult.

We have a great ice cream place nearby that makes it on site.

Favorite Flavors:

Coffee Chocolate Chip - Coffee Ice Cream with dark chocolate chips

Chocoholic Chunk - Dark Chocolate Ice Cream with Dark Chocolate chips

And in case you sense a theme here . . .

Cake Batter - Tastes just like licking the bowl from your mom's yellow cake mix!

Cold Stone Creamery has the Cake Batter... Good stuff.

Seems right to me also. And we have lots more sea days, so lots more brunches and teas. Hope we are right:thumbsup2

If I get one of each, I will be a very happy sailor...

OK PJ, what is DIScreet mode? I am new to handheld internet surfing.

John, on my blackberry for some web sites there is a choice DESKTOP or MOBILE. I just keep selecting MOBILE and it really is pretty easy to use. Do you see anything liek that?

So, true. There's nothing like the look on a little one's face when they see a character. Dh and I would sit overlooking the Mickey pool and watch the kids on the slide.

I love Yau Man too. He started fire. Great!

We thought - great finally someone practiced a skill they knew they needed! I'm amazed every season that no one can start a fire without matches or flint. I would think I would have practiced night and day to figure it out before arriving. But then again so many show up with no outdoor survival skills at all.

200 pages down only 50 more, before Ship of Thieves IV, the saga continues...

Oh yeah.. I love all things sour!!! You know it took me years to figure out that the green ones were apple and not LIME... :confused3

Um....isn't it Hockey night EVERY NIGHT????

I have to admit...you are stronger than all of us!!!

When I was a kid (many, many years ago) hockey was televised every Saturday night and that was how they started the show - "It's Hockey Night in Canada!". And yes, Ithink there were only six or so teams then too - Boston, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal and Detroit. There were porbably more but I can't remember them.

108? That is crazy low. I'm hoping for in the few to several hundreds. How great would it be for the mickey cesspool to not be so crowded? If there aren't that many families, you could use the family beach too? You mean it isn't as nice as serenity bay?

You will still see kids!! :lovestruc

And they opened up the kids Labs/Quest for the grownups (which is actually lots of fun!!) at different times throughout the cruise. :thumbsup2
