We have flown in the UC suite before, just not on an Airbus.

It certainly does spoil you for ever going back to economy.

Oh sorry, I misread and thought you said you hadn't flown VA. We did fly PE last November and that was good, but I am so looking forward to this UC trip, particularly with the long trip home.

I want to change my DIS name to Seven of Lime.

I wish we could change names without re-registering and losing our post count. My DIS name is just what I came up with at the time, no real thought put into it.

Ok well I had compared the extra to purses before but we would have to compare the extra to a car at that cost! WOW. I will admit I would do it once. Maybe when my kids are older. Your posts got me thinking about it and I think I will stay in the smaller rooms for now.

Right now it is funny I think my kids like the smaller rooms when we go on vacation. They enjoy all of us sleeping in one room kinda like a sleep over. I mean really you get to lay in bed and watch tv together, get yummy food brought to the room and hang out together. I think vacation to most kids is getting all that special time they crave with their parents. I honestly think my kids prefer the closeness of a hotel room to the vacations when I have rented a home for us.

My daughter loves when we go on vacation because it's the only time I LET her sleep with me. She'd do it every night if I let her...but heck no...momma likes her space.

That's why we're doing it. We're having to come straight home after the cruise and I didn't want the possibility of a horrible flight in economy being our overriding memory of the holiday.

That's a great Disname!!! Well I had no idea about usernames at all when I chose mine!! I have managed on a couple of forums to change it, but not on here. I sound like a 90 year old!!!

Prayers needed:

I know many people have heard about the tornadoes that hit Tennessee. I live in Jackson - which is where the college (Union University) is that got destroyed.

I belong to one of the local Family and Community Education Clubs (also known as a homemakers club) and we just got word this morning that two members lost their homes in the tornado as well as one of the extension agents in the office that overseas our clubs and 4-H. Also a friend of mine had 3 employees loose their homes in the tornado.

This is the 3rd major hit with deaths that we have had in the past 9 years (Jan 1999, May 2003, Feb 2008) and we are still rebuilding from the 2003 hit in some areas and now this. Please just keep our town (and other towns affected) in your prayers.

Oh, I'm searching for options as we speak. The one I was considering is the cheapest price, but flies into St. Pete/Clearwater instead of MCO, so it's too far (gets in at 1:05). So I'm looking all over. The hard part is that direct flights from Lansing to MCO are limited, so I guess we're stuck transfering in Detroit. Oh well.....we're used to it, so it's not a big deal, was just trying to see if we could get nonstop for once.

My day started off bad. Got some bad news about a good friend of mine. She is about 2 years out of breast cancer and they found a spot on her lung. So I dropped my daughter off at school and told my boss I had to go and drove away. He always looks at me funny when I do that...thank god they're flexible. So please send your thoughts and prayers my way for my friend. She is weighing very heavy on my mind and I can't really talk to anyone here as she doesn't want people to know yet. Tomorrow she goes in for a complete CT of her lung. They were actually checking her abdomen last time and happened to see the lung. Hopefully she'll get the results by friday. Anyhow, I just want it to be something other than metastatic (did i spell that right?) breast cancer. Sorry to be debbie downer, but I had to get it off my chest.

I saw that when I searched Kayak and the EXACT same flight showed up on Ultimate Fares as $86.40. I might just take it.
