When we originally booked - no, when the changed the plane last time I read about the suites upstairs and they said they were slightly smaller and it was hot up there. I was boiling on our last UC flight back in the nose, so didn't want to be any hotter. Hence booking in the nose. I did wear the sleepsuit though which I believe now is polyester and had long sleeves, so would be warm I guess!! Think I will just wear something cool and comfortable for this flight and not change.

Have you been on one of these Airbusses(is that plural for Airbus?) It all looks so much more squashed than the 747.

Haven't been on an Airbus in UC, or with Virgin at all. I think I've flown BMI's version of PE in one a few years ago. It does look squashed with the 3 across and the 17 rows. Although someone does say on that V-Flyer thread that they think the Airbus is roomier. If nothing else, it surely has to be better than flying in the back where it's 17 across (okay, I exaggerate a little ).

Oh that looks fun! My flight lands at 4:25pm and we are staying at the Hyatt, so I wonder if this is doable? How would you suggest I get there and back? I wonder what it would cost to get four of us there and back. Also are the tickets like Disney events, meaning I buy a ticket for the event plus I need to pay admission to the park?

why am I trying to add more things to an already crazy trip.... this is the all the fault of the Dis I am sure of that.

My day started off bad. Got some bad news about a good friend of mine. She is about 2 years out of breast cancer and they found a spot on her lung. So I dropped my daughter off at school and told my boss I had to go and drove away. He always looks at me funny when I do that...thank god they're flexible. So please send your thoughts and prayers my way for my friend. She is weighing very heavy on my mind and I can't really talk to anyone here as she doesn't want people to know yet. Tomorrow she goes in for a complete CT of her lung. They were actually checking her abdomen last time and happened to see the lung. Hopefully she'll get the results by friday. Anyhow, I just want it to be something other than metastatic (did i spell that right?) breast cancer. Sorry to be debbie downer, but I had to get it off my chest.

I just got back from my work meeting. It went well - I did get an extra bonus, but not quite as big to cover the call I got today....

They called for Cat. 1!!!!

Arggg....I have until 5pm tomorrow. I just can't seem to figure this out - we wouldn't be able to pay it all outright, so that makes me think we should say no. But then I imagine being in that wonderful suite for 15 nights with my family.

I think this might give me some levage to make the cruise at least work - my bonus will cover our 2 cat 9's final payment. But still....

Cat. 1......arggg......think of the DIS parties!! I hope someone is still awake to talk me through this!!! Or waking up!

I know many people have heard about the tornadoes that hit Tennessee. I live in Jackson - which is where the college (Union University) is that got destroyed.

I belong to one of the local Family and Community Education Clubs (also known as a homemakers club) and we just got word this morning that two members lost their homes in the tornado as well as one of the extension agents in the office that overseas our clubs and 4-H. Also a friend of mine had 3 employees loose their homes in the tornado.

This is the 3rd major hit with deaths that we have had in the past 9 years (Jan 1999, May 2003, Feb 2008) and we are still rebuilding from the 2003 hit in some areas and now this. Please just keep our town (and other towns affected) in your prayers.

You'll love the suite wherever it is. We flew UV in November 06 and it spoilt us!! Food is ok but I don't think as good as it should be though. It is great snuggled up in the suite watching the film.

No, the party ticket is admission for the park - they usually let you in from 4pm and they escort non party goers out before 7pm.

Met w/ the sleep dr today - I am getting a cpap. I requested a small one that travels well. Said could do. Company is supposed to be calling me tomorrow or Monday to set up for mask fitting. Hopefully this will help me not feel so sleepy all the time

Oh ok it is like our Halloween Treat party. So any ideas on if this is doable? I wonder how soon I could get there? I land at 4:25 then have to check into the Hyatt. Do they have shuttles from the airport or would a towncar be faster you think? Geez I am nuts, I should sty at the hotel but hey I can rest when the vacation is over right?

Today is so blah here....the weather here this winter had been HORRIBLE (do you agree Angie and Dennis?) We haven't seen the sun in weeks, every day it is windy with rain, freezing rain and snow. They can't keep the passes open due to all the snow falling there. The ski resorts are having to close due to avalanches, the lists go on. So...I'm moving to Florida!!!! Ok, not really but it is my current dream .
