When we originally booked - no, when the changed the plane last time I read about the suites upstairs and they said they were slightly smaller and it was hot up there. I was boiling on our last UC flight back in the nose, so didn't want to be any hotter. Hence booking in the nose. I did wear the sleepsuit though which I believe now is polyester and had long sleeves, so would be warm I guess!! Think I will just wear something cool and comfortable for this flight and not change.
Have you been on one of these Airbusses(is that plural for Airbus?) It all looks so much more squashed than the 747.
Haven't been on an Airbus in UC, or with Virgin at all. I think I've flown BMI's version of PE in one a few years ago. It does look squashed with the 3 across and the 17 rows. Although someone does say on that V-Flyer thread that they think the Airbus is roomier. If nothing else, it surely has to be better than flying in the back where it's 17 across (okay, I exaggerate a little
