May 1-5 Press Events Schedule??

Forgive me if this thread has already been addressed, but does anyone know if Disney has released a schedule of Press Events to kick off the first week of the H.C.O.E deal in May? We're going to be there that week (booked way before all this came out) and we're trying to avoid the mayhem! Thanks in advance!!!

I've not yet heard the schedule, and to the best of my knowledge, the invites haven't been sent. We did get a press invite for the Crush 'n' Gusher event on the 14th of this month, so I assume we'll rate one for the 50th.

Hi Pixiedusttravel, I have no real info either I'm afraid other than I have noticed that EPCOT closes at 3pm on the 5th. Hope this helps a little.

Thank-you Worfthedog - I hate that they are closing Epcot so early! That's our final day at the Parks, and we usually close it off with the Illuminations Show.

this might be common knowledge, but last night while i was making a few ps's, i asked the lovely cm why epcot was closing early that day, and she looked on her computer and said that was where the press event was being held. She also said that i would not want to go near the place anyway, because it would be packed with press people.

My husband is a member of the media and is attending the press event at WDW. It's scheduled from May 3-6. He's supposed to get a full itinerary along with his hotel info, etc, later this month.
