Well congratulations with your anniversary. What a beautiful thing that The Tangled musical is showing on the ship and that you used that song.

I also on doing the 5k on Castaway Cay, I have never done anything like that, but I want to try it. Is there anything you suggest for the 5k?

Don't push yourself if you aren't a runner, there are people of all speeds. Be prepared to SWEAT ! Last year our Castaway Cay day was the hottest day of the season. Comfortable, broken in shoes and clothes that won't allow your legs/arms/whatever chafe. Have fun and bring a friend and a good attitude

The same ones that you want to see are the same ones my daughter wants to see. She is a young adult and loves the concept of watching movies on the ship.

Thank you for the advice and tips. I was not planning on pushing myself specially because I invited my 16 year old daughter and she is not a runner too, but she is excited running with me because she doesn't want me to do it alone and she see it the way I do an opportunity to check off our Disney bucket list in the most beautiful place to run.

There are plenty of walkers doing the 5K - I know cause I am one of them. There are water stations along the way to help keep you hydrated.

Oh that's great. I love traveling when it's not so crowded, but then worry that like aged kids won't be onboard because of school. Where are you guys from? We are in Colorado and have had snow days this past week, making us even more anxious to go to the Caribbean!

We are from PA...just outside of Philadelphia...so not as cold as your weather but we are still very much looking forward to warm, sunny weather! I was worried about my daughter meeting similar aged friends too since 14 is a tough age to begin with, plus she's a bit on the shy side at first but is starting to grow out of that. I would say she is a "younger" 14 if that makes sense My sons are 5 and 8 and will likely have no problem meeting others. I never push it but am always thrilled to see them all make new friends so we look forward to meeting your family and all of the other families on this thread. I think I'm the most excited about this trip in my house...my husband and kids are funny...they just all wait for me to tell them where we are going and what's planned. Ok by me though!!

Sounds like you have a full house! Chloe's brothers (my stepsons) are turning 27 & 24 this Spring so she is an older 12 because of that, plus she dances with girls a year or two older. All five of us are spending two days at Universal and then the boys head home on Sunday, so Chloe will appreciate finding some girls after a long weekend of the boys! I've been to PA once and loved the lushness of the area I was in during my brief trip.

A solid speed-walk maybe an hour or so. More if you walk slower.

Hi...I completely understand if we missed the deadline since we booked after that date! I absolutely don't want to inconvenience anyone. I read back through the thread and saw the original list posted so if a second list doesn't start I will simply buy for that original and bring some of my own gifts to give to my children so they feel like they are part of all the excitement

So it literally runs from one extreme to another. You see everything on the men from tuxedos to linen trousers to golf attire. The women dress in everything from gowns to spring time dresses. This is the night I make hubby wear a suit and my daughter (12) and I wear our nicer dresses so that we can have our yearly family photos made. It also depends on the demographics of who is on board. The concierge level is full so that tells me that you might see a little more formal dresses running around than normal. I would say "cocktail" attire would make you comfortable regardless of what everyone else is doing. Does that help at all?

I also make the formal time our one family phot shoot for the year so we definitely dress a little more formal.

Sounds like my house. My family is excited but not nearly as excited as I am. I end up doing all of the planning and organizing. They're just along for the fun. We finally received our cruise booklet with the luggage tags!

Any ideas for what to do with passports when going on some of these excursions? We booked The Baths and the KonTiki boat in St. Thomas. I saw that Target sells these lanyard type pouches to store them?? This is our first time bringing passports. We usually just take our driver's licenses. Any recommendations? I'll be responsible for 4 passports.

I can at this point add your family to our list. We have 2 stateroom, 1043 my husband Benny and I'm Judy, my daughter are on 1041 Anissa 24 and Mareli 16, they will be also making there own gifts to exchange.

On your part, you would have to make or buy gifts for the people that have agree to exchange with you. Then you would buy or make a fish extender to hang on the outside of the stateroom so that at one point of the cruise we will deliver the gift.
This will be my first time participating on the gift exchange and I'm very excited.
