Several years ago (2015 - back when you could do borders and things on PhotoPass pictures), I spent WEEKS customizing, sizing, cropping, and designing my pix. By the time I was done, I had NINE CDs of pictures (this was also at a time when you could not download them - they all came on CD), which I ordered a few days before the pictures expired. It took some time for the CDs to be processed, and, of course, by the time they came, my pictures were expired. And I took a few days to look at the CDs themselves, as well.
Well. I went to put disc #8 in the computer to download the pix to my hard drive and discovered that the disc was partially delaminated and useless. By this time, we were well beyond the 60-day mark. So, in a panic, I called up PhotoPass. They looked up my account, found my pictures, and not only sent another complete set of CDs but also set me up for direct download.
So, just be aware that just because it says your photos as expiring, it doesn't mean they're GONE. I mean, don't delay and don't count on them being there years later, but don't panic if you lose your pix.
