I know that officially you can hold 5 people in a one bedroom. However, the website states only 4 people. So my question is. Could you have a total of 10 people with a lock off? Some of the lock off now hold 5 in a studio. Looking for clarification and don't feel like being on hold with member services this am. I know Grand Floridian can sleep 10 in a 2 bedroom lock off.

It varies by resort.

VGF will hold 10 in a kickoff. That's the only one I know for sure. The other resorts that allow 5 in a studio and 5 in a one bedroom should allow it, but not all of them do. You'll really need to plug in 10 people to the booking tool and try each resort to know for sure.

You can only do 5 and 5 if you book a studio and a 1BR, sorry. No, it doesn't "make sense." Doesn't have to. Is how it works.

Doing that is more expensive, and you have no connection guarantee.

Unless one us under 3, as in 9 + 1 under 3, I believe. Someone can correct me though.

ETA that doesn't apply to all resorts either. AKV and OKW I believe it does.

Which resorts would this be allowed? My entire trips have been changed around. Now that they announced the new AP deal.
VGF allows 10 in a 2BR lock off.
All other resorts are 9 except AKL Jambo value, which is 8.

All 2BR dedicated are 9, except CCV which is 8.

1BR at AKL Jambo Value, BC, BW, and CCV sleep 4. The rest sleep 5.

Studios at BC, BW, BR, Poly, and VGF sleep 5. The rest sleep 4.

Basically, the 1BRs that are BYOB for a 5th, when part of a 2BR, do not sleep 10. They sleep only to bedding capacity.

Thus: BLT Studio sleeps 4. BLT 1BR sleeps 5 WITH BEDS. 2BR sleeps 9. The other two resorts with a sleeper chair in the 1BR are OKW and AKV, which also are studios that only sleep 4.

Saratoga and CCV 2BRs can only be booked for 8, because the studio sleeps 4, and the 1BR has 4 sleep spaces.

BCV Studio sleeps 5. BCV 1BR sleeps 5, but the 5th is BYOB. There are only 4 bed spots. As a 2BR, it sleeps 9, no BYOB. Same is true for BWV and BRV.

VGF, the studio has sleeping spaces for 5. So does the 1BR. So there are 10 distinct sleeping spaces, and the 2BR is listed for 10.

The "BYOB" rule applies only to certain 1BRs booked as 1BRs.

Looks like the not smart options but the only option is to get a 1 bedroom kickoff and a studio lock off and request to be. Y each other. We roll the dice and see what happens. I just don't want to use so many points for GF

Or get two studios and request that they be close together (but they will not be connecting - unless you are at Poly)
