Max in the parks?

Does anyone know where I can find Max Goof in the parks? I saw on a website that it's extremely rare to see him and some people wasn't sure if he even is at Disney World anymore. The last time we saw him was 3 years ago at Epcot. He is my absolute favorite character and I've taken pictures with him ever since I was little. Seeing him is almost a must do for me if it's even possible. Thanks!

We saw him in the courtyard in front of the Great Movie Ride at HS back in early June. Not sure if he's a regular there though.

Try the character located on the Kenny the pirate website but I don't think he's a normal character anymore.

Yes, Max Goof is in front of The Great Movie Ride. His time is fairly limited, it's mid-afternoon if I recall. Frankly, we just ran into him there and didn't even know who he was, our kids had to tell us.

We saw him here back in 2013.

He's a very rare character and meeting him usually happens out of chance. I saw him for the first time this past February at Epcot. They opened up a side gate and had about 6 rare characters meeting. It was only open to enter for about 10 min or so then they closed the gate

Max used to be out for the group Character Palooza in DHS on a regular basis until the format and location changed.

If he is showing up at GMR in mid-afternoon, Max is probably part of the now spread out Palooza characters.

Max used to be a rotating character in the GMR pavilion but that set has since disappeared within the past 2 weeks so there is no more scheduled times for him. However, there is a possibility they will bring him out randomly in that pavilion throughout the day.

There are no more character meets at the courtyard of the Chinese Theater. They moved Daisy,Donald and Goofy to Sids by the front entrance. Chip and Dale moved by Sci Fi Diner. Max disappeared from the rotation

I met Max near the Great Movie Ride last March, think it was about mid afternoonish. Nice surprise!

MAX GOOF

Max is a random pop up character, but he could pop up at Epcot or Studios. I wouldn't classify him as rare, but he's also not scheduled regularly. Photos of my family meeting Max are in link above, he's popped up in a variety of locations over the last couple of years.
