So far I've read that 4 and over need a ticket/wristband to hit Atlantis. My son will have just turned 4 (Nov) on our Jan cruise. Will they ask for his passport to prove he is 4?

Also, do we need to bring our passports with us off the ship to Nassau?

This is our first Disney cruise, first cruise for the kids, and first trip to FL for us. Our booking window opens soon and I'm so excited to sign up for our dinners, M&G, and excursions.

If you are doing Atlantis through Disney you will definitely have to pay for him because they will have his age and just like a child is not 18 until midnight on the birthday and would not be allowed to be signed up for anything 18+ before that date, if the child is over or under a cutoff age, they will either be charged appropriately or not allowed to book and attend.

As for if you can get away with it there if you're doing it on your own, that's probably between you and your conscience. And of course if he has the ability to keep his mouth shut if they ask how old he is (or being able to...you know the word I'm not going to put here, but it is what you're doing...say "Three" and not "Four" if they ask him).

NEED to bring them? If you're planning to get left then definitely. :rolleyes1 I believe that should there be an emergency DCL would have a way to get them AS LONG AS THEY ARE IN YOUR SAFE. You DO need photo ID in order to come back through the terminal - but it can be a driver's license.
