Hello,
I am 18 and was approved for a MAW last year before my birthday. (Just a very brief description of my illness: I have late stage CNS Lyme Disease and have been in and out of hospitals for the last 10 years. My last stay was in Dec. 2010 when I was in for suspected GBS caused by the Lyme and acute renal and respiratory failure.) My wish is to go to Hawaii. Does anyone have any experience with what the process is? We were just told that we will be able to travel in May of 2012.
How long does it typically take before we find out our dates and what activities we are doing?
