MAW daughter with Rett Syndrome going to WDW!

Can someone tell me if any of the Princesses or Barney come to GKTW?
I know a few little girls that would love to meet them and I sure don't want to miss their appearance at GKTW if they DO come... TIA!!!

(Will post this on my thread as well as the main thread...so I'm going to cover my bases...lol)

If you don't see them at GTKW you can find quite a few of them in Epcot,

Aurora is in France
Belle is also in France
Snow White in Germany
Mulan in China

You can also find them in MK but not sure if they have closed toon town yet. You can find Tiana in Liberty Square behind the Christmas Shoppe though

I have no idea on the GTKW having princesses but .....
in just a few days you will have just a days siggy!!!!!

wow, you're almost to the one month mark!!! bet the excitement is building

I'm not up on where all the characters are in WDW since we haven't been since Jan 08...I know on the maps they show where the character meet and greets are being held though, or ask a CM!

as far as your flight concerns, just keep asking if they can get you a direct or longer lay over...but if not, let the airlines know, they will be helpful to make sure you make your connecting....

Toontown is closing on the 12th so the Princesses will be moving and to where is still the subject of speculation.

However, as Chiara said, a bunch can be found around the World Showcase. In addition to the ones she listed:

Jasmine is in Morocco at Epcot and in Adventureland at MK
Ariel is meeting in Adventureland at MK
Tiana is in the gazebo in Liberty Square at MK
Rapunzel is in the Storybook Garden at MK
Pocahontas is at Rafiki's Planet Watch at Animal Kingdom

Cinderella is really the only one that is hard to find outside of the Toontown meet & greet, so I assume she'll be moved somewhere else at Magic Kingdom when Toontown closes. Expo Hall is the ultimate destination, but my understanding is that the construction there might not be complete in time for the Toontown closure date.

Berlioz70, a CM who has been on the DIS a long time, is keeping a thread with all the news on the changes that you can find here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2622159 When the new meet & greet locations are announced, she'll add that info to the first post in the thread.

We've recieved another "BIG GIVE" gift!! I want to thank from the bottom of all of our hearts for the special time Cheryl (aboveH2O) took to make these awesome "I Spy with My Little Eye" bags...Embroidered w/ each girls name. Kaylie and Karis LOVE them! These are sooooo neat! I love the little check-off list you attached to it as well. Kaylie saids "This is soooo coool Mommy"!!! Khelsey really likes her Taggie cube. That is the cutest thing ever! She LOVES Minnie Mouse and I actually have Minnie Mouse as her birthday party theme! Her 17th birthday is monday (she shares a birthday with my mom too)! Here are some pics of these awesome items and my crazy Special K's too.

The package made it to Virginia very quickly. It must have been in a hurry to get away from all of the snow we have here.

I've been enjoying reading your pre-trip report. I thought about your family and each of the girls as I was sewing -- I think that's part of what makes the Big Give special.

Here's hoping everyone is their healthiest and most energized (including Mom and Dad ) for your trip.

Thank you again Cheryl...I wish you would've sent all of that snow down here for us!! We LOVE the snow! Fortunately we've had "some" but we are soooo ready for some more. Last time was right after Christmas... One more good snow in February would be awesome!! Hoping to get all of the colds/illnesses now and out of the way before we leave...I'm flipping right now-----> only 1 month and 2 days left!! :faint :faint :faint

She's feeling ok, just a bit more grouchy thank usual...she'll perk up as soon as I put a Disney movie on for her or Barney...

I have no clue on Barney -- to my knowledge he is not Disney and I'm not sure you'll be able to locate him.

I saw you already got some princess tips. Have you thought about doing any of the princess dinners like Akerhaus (? sp). We did that dinner and saw Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White and Aurora. Of course, my dd was wearing a Jasmine dress!!! But the waitress told us to head to Morrocco to see Jasmine and sure enough, we found her. I actually like the character meet and greets better than the meals (you get much nicer pictures), but a dinner gets you five princesses in one shot.

I also saw Alice riding the teacups in MK.

If you are looking for a particular princess guest services can sometimes give you times and locations (from what I read -- we never tried it ourselves).

Aww! Thank you so much! She sends a huge for thanks! She shares a birthday with my Mother so we are celebrating on Feb. 6th with good 'ol cake and ice cream! I have everything all set and ready. I know Khelsey can't wait...she LOVES cake!

have you tried getting dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand FL? is has Cinderella, the prince, step mother & step sisters, its a really fun night...especially if you get the step sisters rilled up! its a buffet so lots of different food to pick from!

ITA about 1900 we are eating dinner there our next trip. I have heard it is a great time for the kids! Plus LOADS cheaper than Akerhaus and CRT !
