Hi joining in on your PTR. All your daughters are beautiful and you will have so much fun.

When looking for a certain character sometimes one of the handlers will let you know who and when that they are coming out. They have a schedule in their pocket and some are willing to share that information and some not so much, but just keep asking until you find a friendly handler.

have you tried getting dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand FL? is has Cinderella, the prince, step mother & step sisters, its a really fun night...especially if you get the step sisters rilled up! its a buffet so lots of different food to pick from!

So true. This is a great place to eat and the Step Sisters are the best.

Thank you!!! But unfortunately, we just got home from the doctors and my 8 yr old (Kaylie) has both the Flu AND Strep? I have never heard of such and her doctor said we got very unlucky. PRAY that Khelsey doesn't get it.

OH NO!!!!! Poor little Kaylie!!! I'll say some prayers for you guys that she will get well quick and that no one else gets it!!! YIKES!!! What a whammy!!! Were they able to give her anything to give her any relief? Here is some pixie dust -

Thank you so much for the extra "get well" pixie dust! We can surely use it! Knocking on wood for the rest of us so far...that's all I will say. Kaylie was given an antibiotic for her strep and they gave a script for Tamiflu, but I am not wanting to fill it. I don't know if it will help her...she had the flu 2 years ago and was given tamiflu, it made her very nauseaus and she threw up as soon as she had the dose in her. I don't think it did any good IF any even made into her system. PLUS it's $100 with our insurance. Eeek! After tomorrow it will be too late to try it so I'm going to sit on it overnight and see if I have a change of mind.

Thank you! She seems to be doing pretty good so far...coughing more than yesterday, still running a fever...as long as I keep Motrin in her she's in decent spirits! I had Khelsey quarantined away from her yesterday----> Khelsey had a good 'ol date with Barney & Disney movies all day yesterday in her room!! I will do anything to keep her from getting this! Today she is in school so she's going to be sooo happy!

Oh YEAH!!! Yesterday was Khelsey's 17th Birthday!!! She was born on my mom's birthday, so it's a very special day. We were going to do lunch with my mom (Khelsey had early release from school) but with Kaylie having strep & flu we decided to do a raincheck.
We will be celebrating both with a Minnie Mouse themed birthday party with the whole family on Sunday with cake & ice cream --- so cross your fingers that we all stay sickness free!!!

This is a strange flu...her Ped said she has Influenze B, which is the gastrointestinal one...throwing up, diarrhea, etc...but Kaylie has not had a single symptom of that. This one is more like body aches, fever, congestion, cough, etc...I don't get it. And now that I think about it, if they have had the flu vaccine, doesn't that have the possibility of lessening the effects of the flu if you do get it or am I thinking of a different vaccine?? Anyhoo, thank you all for thinking of us. We are keeping our bodies loaded with vitamins and OJ.

So glad that you got dates and I hear we will have decent weather there from the research I have done for that season in the past couple years. Maybe one night we can grab icecream or something. Our time is getting closer.

Happy Belated Birthday to Khelsey! Will you get the Happy Birthday buttons while you are at Disney? I mean, it'll be a month off but I've seen people get it when their birthday was a few months away. It'll be nice for her to get all the Belated Happy Birthday wishes while she is down there.

Thank you! Love the Ladybug!! Too cute! Kaylie's feeling ok for the most part...my fingers are crossed that no one else gets it. I told you guys about Khelsey having that runny nose over the weekend, and now Karis has the congestion going on. I called their Ped and she went ahead and called in antibiotics for them just to be on the safe side for strep. So at least my mind will be at ease with them possibly having that one...I just don't want to pass along strep to anyone knowing Kaylie has it and possibly my other 2. Grrrr...

I am so sorry everyone is so sick . Better now than for your trip though! I hope everyone is quickly on the mend so Khelsey can have a fabulous birthday party this weekend. Get well wishes to all
