Just wanted to point out that this is taking a lot longer than the last 2 to write since It accidently deleted what I typed..

Characters:
Me (17) - Acts like a 5 year old. Sometimes it pays off..
Mother (40-Something) - Going along for our sakes..
Father (Also 40-Something) - Going along for fun rides..
DB22 (22) - Responsible for any fun on this holiday..
DBGF (22) - Thanking her stars she's still with DB22
DB19 (19) - Big Baby with AS, but is trying really hard for us
DS (13) - Teen (Need I say more?)

Day 3 – The Day of Reckoning.

I awoke at 8.00. This time, it was my sister poking me that woke me up. My reply to her was simply "I'm awake; Leave me alone!". :rotfl2:

I got showered, which was hard to do since I had no idea how to work the darned thing and dressed (Remembered the glasses this time round!) and had a Kit-Kat, which was disgusting since it was all melty and a Capri-Sun. DBGF, DB and DS were awake too, and gave me the task of getting DB19 up. I tried to do this by putting the lightswitch on, but accidently put the parent's lightswitch on instead.. :rotfl2: So, I said "Woops" and put the other light on..

About 8.30 we were all ready to go. The plan was to do the other parts that we had missed yesterday due to the massive queues. DB22 was so focused that we had to skip a meeting with Goofy in the lobby.. :sad2:

We went through Disney Village and into the Park again. We were all trying to get inside prompt, however DB19's ticket wouldn't go into the machine. :badpc: A Cast member came along to fix the machine, however it took him some time to figure out that he should let DB19 into the park and then fix it in his own time. This set DD22 into a mini-huff, but in the meantime we did get a snap of Mickey Mouse in a clown car (it had a funny horn and all.. :rotfl2: )

We ran to Discoveryland; the land we skipped the last time we were there. However, Several cast memebers were there and had blocked the road. It seems that Discovery only opens at 9.00 :sad2: We waited and waited; so much that DB22 and DBGF had enough time to get this picture in front of the castle.

We prepared to run there. I was in the front since I was the fastest and had to drag everyone else along. I slowly navigated myself to the front, and then when they removed the barrier I weaved in and out of the traffic and made it to Buzz Lightyears! :woohoo: We love this ride so much in WDW we were prepared to run for it to get there!

I got around 32,000 points, where as DB19 beat us all with 50,000 points!! I was beating him throughout (he had 600 points before I checked and he had a lot of points) and only beat me by hitting Zurg Twice!! :rotfl2: Curse my shortsightedness!!

We all went to Star Tours. It's a good ride, but unfortunately it's one of those rides in Disney that is all french except for the small english parts that they can't be bothered to dub. Could someone at least try to speak English??

We then went to Indiana Jones in Discoveryland. Now, DS and DB22 were prepared, DB19 did the sensible thing and stayed off the ride where as me and DBGF were not looking forward to it. DB19 was good not going on; he reminded me I had my glasses on. I put them in my pocket, and then Screamed all the way now! I rattled down the tracks, and my neck surpressed into my torso; espicially on the loop de loop. My only word's after were "Ow".

We headed towards Fantasyland, and guess who we saw? Winnie-the-Pooh!!I so would of taken a picture with him, but the line was too big so we decided to do another Mickey Mouse Treatment on him.

We then headed for the Alice Maze. I love it, however DS lead us into a dead end and got us delayed behind DBs. We were so behind that they get to the castle before us! (They waited for DS; how rude!!). Partly my fault, I had to have a photo op half way.

After we got to the top, we climbed down and went to the Carosal. I love this, although it is not very Disney Related. In fact, I couldn't see anything on it to do with it at all.. Still, we went on it. Mostly since DBGF refused to go on Dumbo.

We queued up, but the line was shorter than posted. However, the Tick-Tock of the Small World Clock did annoy us abit. Still, in no time at all we were on the carousal, and even got to take pictures. I said when I got on "This isn't a horse, it's a mule!". :rotfl2:

We headed for the castle, just as it was one of the final things we needed to do before we left. We got to the top ok; although it was pressure to get up there..

We headed to Main Street USA to go out. The parents were waiting to get into the place; it was jam packed! We got to Main Street, and DBGF spots Donald Duck, and me DS and her run to go and meet him. However, it was another case of lines, so we did the same thing again.

One of us spots something big and blue on the castle. Yup, IT'S STITCH!! I made and effort to get everyone over there; getting a picture with Stitch would of made my day. The last time we tried, we took a picture and DS's underware was showing underneath her Dress!! :rotfl2:

We tried as hard as I could to get a picture with him, but due to the mob of kids, the positioning of me and the scaredy-catness of me, we didn't get a picture.. We did do the Mickey Mouse Treatment on him though (We have a lot of them, but here is the best picture):

Stitch, you broke my heart!!! :sad2:  Should've I broke his nose? :teeth:

We went to Pirates since it was a small wait. It was cool, now that I could see it properly now. :thumbsup2 Then, we went off to meet the parents outside the Disneyland Hotel. We had lunch and then we decided to check it out, and use their toilets. DBGF tried to stop the revolving door, but someone's kid ran into it.. We just said "Run, Run!!". Judging by the lack of press we are OK. :thumbsup2

We headed for MGM now. We were able to go in OK. It's nice they decorated the front with a giant Cars poster now. The inside was cool too; all christmassy. There were a tuba band too!!

We queued for the special effects show thing, but then we found out that DB19's favorite show Lights Motors Action was about to begin the final one of the day. We headed there and queued up. It was great, but again it was the whole lack of english that spoilt it slightly.

We decided to queue up for the tram tour. It was cool, although I wish they had put the flames on more, it was cold! Although, in the destroyed London scene, the flames were too hot for my sister who said it burnt her.. Also, they still had the same old props they had the last time we were there! I mean, who has heard of "Dinotopia?" I only JUST remember it!

It was at that point we decided to go back to Disney Village and do our final shopping (after going back to annette's for our last supper; I had the FrankNBeans again. :)). We were given 15 euros each, although when I pointed out that you couldn't get any toys for that much, they gave me more money. I searched high and low for a cuddly toy, and settled on one of 3. The choices were Simba from the Lion King, Rakifi from the Lion King at 18 euros or Koda from Brother Bear; the most expensive one out of the 3 at 25 euros. You'll hear of my choice later..

We went out and got a crepe before going to the train station. We go to Disney Express and guess what; out bags aren't there!! :furious: It appears that we didn't have a blue form and they didn't pick up our bags. So, we waited while they got the bags (not that long though) and then made our way to the train station. We zoomed through security and all and then made our way to the platform. The train was there already so we got onboard and found our First Class seats. They were quite cool, and had a plug for my DS to be plugged in to. :)

Me and DS sat across from DB19 and a family, while DB22 and GF and Mother and Father got seats further up the train. DB19 moved later on when he found out that there were seats available next to Mother. :) The family were alright, although I had empathy for the child. After the child bounced up and down, the dad took the child out to the place between compartants where we sat last time and said "Now if your not going to behave you'll sit here". The baby was crying still when he brought it back into the room later on the journey and then sat there all quiet.. :sad2:  I really can't stand the thought of a baby crying!! (Man I'd make such a bad father.)

Now for the toy. I got a picture with me and my new toy on the train home. My Choice was Koda from Brother bear. He has "Disneyland Resort Paris" on his foot so I know where he came from. :)

After lots of reading my Simpsons comic (DB and his GF had my DS for most of the trip), food came. We had already been given a can of coke in small plastic cup (DS split hers.. :rotfl: ), so this was an extra. We were given pasta with some cheesy stuff that I didn't like so I ate my roll as well as DB22's that was offered to me. I tried the pudding; it was a chocolate cake like thing with vanilla swirls on top. Urgh, I didn't like it..

After lots more comic reading, I-pod listening (DS said it was too loud once.. Oops..) and eventually Pokemon Mystery Dungeon playing, we made it back to Ashford international. Mother had a small flap before we got off trying to get everyone organised..

We got back to the cars in no time. I was with DB and his GF on the way home. It felt rather weird going to another country and coming back so quickly; I could remember having the radio on radio 1 before we left. We were all pretty tired on the way home, although we did have a small discussion on the ups and downs on the trip. The most negatives were about the overcrowdedness; attitudes of the french (they had tried to cut in most of the time and no-one really told them off) and sulkiness of the family, but the best postives were that we were together, the character meets and the Christmasness.

We got home, and I quickly took the time to look on the internet. Checked WPASADI, News and of course the UK boards. Quickly posted Hi and left. There was Nothing much important elsewhere, but I heard the Wii came out on Friday (that I knew) and that Richard Hammond was to have an interview on Johnaton Ross (which I thought it meant it had already happened last Friday; that's what the Beeb always do in their programes).

I went to bed afterwards due to high pressure from the parents to go to bed; briefly remembering the lyrics to the Christmas Parade.. (Sha.. Sing along.. Sing along sing a song of Christmas.. :goodvibes )

Our Heroes adventure is over for now. Perhaps there will be a next time? Who knows, but we do know one thing. Our Heroes now believe in Magic Once again..

The End

It sounds like you had a great trip Matt. It's a shame that you couldn't get a photo of just you and Stitch. Love your Koda toy too :thumbsup2

Sounds like you had an action packed trip.
I hope the kid in the revolving door was OK. You don't want the Disney Police after you. They are like the Terminator - they will find you eventually! :teeth:
BTW - we love Annettes too. It's a pity the roller skating has stopped though. Do they still do the dancing on the table / rock-along bit?
I look forward to hearing about your next Disney trip, wherever / whenever that may be - make it soon. :thumbsup2
Hasta la vista :wave2: ;)

Sounds as though you had a wonderful trip Matt :thumbsup2

Lovely piccies :)

They do! On our first day there they were dancing. Me, DBGF and DB22 were dancing. I slowly backed away when they got into full force for fear of being looked at weirdly by fellow park partrons.. :rotfl:

Love the picture of Winnie the Pooh in his Christmas gear, so cute. Koda is cute too.

Love your Koda Matt. :)

Your reports are great. :Pinkbounc

Would you like to post them up on the DLP board? There are quite a few DLP DISers who don't visit on here and I am sure they would love to have a read. :)
