Matterhorn closed?

I was looking up info for my trip to DL in September, and on the Disneyland.com website, they have listed that the Matterhorn Bobsleds and Haunted Mansion will be closed while I'm there. I expected HM to be closed, but that's the first I've heard of the Matterhorn. I'm assuming that since it is on the official website it must be true, but I just thought I would check here too. At riderefurbs.com it is not listed, but California Screamin is (it's not on the DL website, though). I'd be terribly disappointed if both coasters are closed when I go! Just wanted to see if anyone here knew for sure what will be open and what won't. Thanks!!

Both rides need refurbs pretty bad. Matterhorn usually goes down every September for at least 2 months, but it's been running for almost 2 years w/o one, so it really needs it. Screamin' has been needing one too, so I do expect it will be going down shortly after summer ends. I hope they get the sound system on Screamin' working more consistently.

Thanks for the info. I'm a DL newbie so I was looking forward to riding those for the first time. Oh well! Hopefully I can go back again sometime.

Screamin' has been needing one too, so I do expect it will be going down shortly after summer ends. I hope they get the sound system on Screamin' working more consistently.

Yeah, went two weekends ago and rode Screamin 4 times. The only time I heard audio was when I was in the very last car. The ride is so much better with the audio.

I've also Screamin' is going down later this year to allow for a new Incredibles based ride to be started on the boaardwalk where the Carnival Games and the long extinct burrito walk up.
