We wore matching neurodiversity or autism awareness shirts most of the trip, but my CD isn't on this computer...

and matching shirts for a friends recent trip:

Hey everyone, these are great photos of your creativeness. Keep them coming. I have made a few for our trip in Sept. but I'm computer illiterate. If i can figure out how to post some pictures I will. Keep posting those photos, It gets us in the mood for Mickey!

I wanted photos with our matching shirts too. My teenage grandsons weren't to excited about it, so they carried the shirts into the parks, got their picture taken and took them off. At least I have some nice photopass pictures!!!

Okay so I went to Michael's today and got tshirts for us all, but I got the smallest youth size there were for my kiddos and the small is super big on my little guy. How can I shrink them??? I guess I could also go looking somewhere else for shirts, but I really dont want to go searching for the same colors again.

Oh and I got red, blue (had to get the kids and adults diff shades), black, yellow, white, and I already had white w/ blue sleeves and collars. Are these good colors for December?

I would plan on bringing l/s thermals for under the shirts. I made a ton of great shirts for last Dec and that's when they had the freezing cold streak and the kids had to wear l/s's and coats every day! :headache:

I actually ordered most of our shirts from an online distributor but I also found some plain toddler/preschool sized shirts at Walmart for decent prices.

here are some of the shirts I did:

I was just about to post this exact same question. The youth small will fit my petite 4 year old perfectly, but my 2 year old swims in it. I went ahead and bought them, and I think I'm going to wash one in hot water and dry on high and see how it goes. Worst that happens is I'm out $2!

By the way, if you have Hobby Lobby near you, they also have shirts on sale 50% off (so $1.50 for youth), and they had youth XS, which looked like a much better fit for the little ones. The quality didn't seem as good, and the colors were limited, but I got the white ones I needed there so I'd at least have a few for sure.

KTHSHH--where is the Creative DISigns area? I poked around and couldn't find it. I love the shirt ideas! Thanks!

Neko, the Creative DISigns board can be found by going to home page of the disboards. Just scroll down to the Just for Fun section. It's near the very bottom.

Made from a thread over on the DISigns board:

Can you tell me where I can find the directions for these shirts? I love the look of them. They look great....

Awesome thread! I am planning for our trip next year to have a custom outfits made for my daughter and then matching custom shirts for my DH and I to match her outfit. I can't wait!

I am going to try to shrink them also. If that doesnt work then I'll make a run to Hobby Lobby when I'm over there on tuesday for lunch. Mine will also be 2&4 when we go...LOL.

amymickey.com has AMAZING transfers, I am using them for my trip and have used them for just making regular shirts too. She's a DISigner on the Creative DISigns board here at the DIS. :goodvibes

it actually says on her site that she is no longer doing DISNEY TRANSFERS....:confused3

She no longer designs Disney pictures. The transfers you buy from her are blank. You print them out yourself. There are others on the Creative DISigns board that you can get Disney designs from.

can i ask you where you got all the iron on transfers?

From the designers on the Creative Disigns board here. I used Amy_mickey's blank transfer papers to print onto.

Some of the designs I pieced together myself and edited myself. The others were designs from the creator's collections in photobucket or specifically made for me. The Star Wars name ones (the one that says Olivia) are made by Dom13 and are simply amazing. Even better in person than the picture. We have one for each of us.

Amymickey DOES sell blank transfers at amymickey.com She DOES NOT make Disney designs to put ON transfers anymore, but there are many designers that will make designs for you and then you use her blank transfers to print out your designs. :)
