Yep, we are one of those Disney-only matchy families! It started as a way to easily track my children but it's morphed into a tradition. I will be sad if/when my oldest hits adolescence and doesn't want to do this anymore (actually, though, it's more likely to be my second son who eventually balks!). 50% of the time, it's just the boys dressed alike and 50% all five of us alike.
I admire those of you who design and make your own shirts. I order annually from tiedyeusa.com getting enough to make their wholesale minimums so the shirts are ridiculously inexpensive and then pick up Disney Store tees when they are on sale.
We just returned from a long Cali trip that included 5 nights at Disneyland where matching shirts are not as common. We were stopped 5-10 times a day by or talked in line with parents who thought it was the greatest thing. And, guess what, PP neon green hater ... by FAR the shirt that people admired the most was a lime green tie dye spider number we all wore. LOL! Didn't meet any dis'ers though.
