MasterChef Season 4

Joe Bastianich. His mother is world famous Italian chef Lidia Bastianich.

...he's more like a boil on a butt. The more you watch the show, the more he grows on you. I personally find him hilarious.

Back in the day, before the food network, I used to watch her show on PBS. She's very talented.

I found out today that Joe co-owns Mozza- my husband's favorite restaurant! I knew the other two owners are Nancy Silverton and Mario Batagli, but I like Joe so much better now that I know he's in on such a great couple of restaurants.

I'm enjoying the show so far.

I like Joe Bastianich but it's a poor word choice to chew out the military guy by saying I put my butt on the line for you.

I see where you are coming from, but the Chef actually meant that they other two judges didn't really want the guy. He told other people about him and convinced the judges to say yes.

I knew what he was referencing, it was just one of those moments we all have where he didn't really think about what he was saying.

Very true. It's the other way around - our soldiers put their behinds on the line for us, literally...

I like to know what made all the hate for some of them. Maybe the producers stirred something up but boy so early on if looks could kill.

Loved when the one contestant said Graham was smaller in person and he said the camera added a 100 pounds or so...:rotfl2:

Don't have a favourite yet I don't but really not liking the one that won immunity last night.

I think maybe something happened pre-production that caused the "stir" between them. It seems like Chrissy's personality could put a lot of people off. I'm originally from Philly and I get it, but some people don't. It also seems like Natasha is a little self absorbed, so Chrissy would definitely get under her skin if she "put her in her place" at some point behind the scenes. What really made me like Chrissy is the way her son talked about her to the judges during auditions. I literally teared up. Her food is also the food I most wanted to taste. I would definitely take a ride to South Philly to eat in her restaurant.

I am liking Chrissy, she is so sassy! I also like Jordan, they guy who was wearing his mothers apron. So far they are my favs.

Not liking the one who had immunity too much. I can't figure out if she is just trying to stir things up with the other contestants so she will seem more interesting and won't be kicked off too soon.

Also don't like the one who won immunity (Natasha?). She is pretty but I've seen prettier...she keeps harping on how pretty she is. Get over yourself!
Anyway, from my short time viewing it (I dozed off a couple of times during last night's episode again :rolleyes2) I like the kid with the long hair (Frank?) but didn't really get to see most of the others. Time will tell!

Yeah, Natasha is pretty much hung up on how wonderful she is!:scratchin
I'm hoping that she falls flat on her face really soon. I don't recall in past seasons that the contestants got so nasty to one another so fast!

I don't like Krissy. She seems to hate everyone and if you have to physically hurt someone in order to advance and can't do it without doing that than you don't have the talent you think you have.

MasterChef is one of my favorite competition shows to watch. Gordon is my favorite judge.

I didn't know that it started so thanks for the reminder. I will have to watch on Hulu.

Oh! I love this show! I love all the judges and Joe especially. He makes me *giggle*. I sometimes wonder if Natasha and Krissy are playing it up for the camera. It looks like a really good competition this year.

The stewardess- I can't remember her name, will be the one to watch and the tall bald guy, he came out on top also. Uhhhh I can't remember names. lol

Not liking Krissi or Natasha very much. Why does there always have to be so much drama, lol. I really like Jordan & the girl Jessie & also Johnny B(?). There were also a lot of chefs that haven't gotten too much attention yet so it's still too early to pick a fav.

Seriously! I was thinking the exact same thing. You're not the first attractive woman who knows how to cook!

Not sure who I'm pulling for so far, but I like Jordan and Johnny the most.

I was surprised when Natasha and Chrissy let the judges know what they think about each other. I think that the drama adds to the show and they are egged on by the producers.

Chrissy is not my favorite, neither Natasha. I thought I missed a 3rd audition episode, but it isn't on Hulu. There seems to be such a hatred SO soon.

I like Chrissy too. I'm from Long Island so I 'get' her too :rotfl2: I think that Natasha started it by acting superior to Chrissy.
