Just curious but what do you scrap? Everything? Are you working on older albums (past trips, when your kids were little) I just don't know what I would have to make that many pages of :)

According to the totals, I've done 300 pages this year so far. I still have plenty of things to scrap. I have finally finished my last disney trip (i'm going again next month), I still have to do the previous trip and my trips prior to that were on paper, but I feel they were very incomplete, so now that I do digital, I may do a few more.

I also made a brag book, I am mostly current with this year, completing the several previous years that are all very incomplete. Each day we move forward in life just gives me more things to scrap!

I still have many other projects on the side too: Disney a-z book, a recipe box and more.

I am so far behind and I think I will be until the day I die... or at least til the kids move out!

I'm so far behind. The only thing I've done this year is my Disney album and a couple of gift albums.

I've done a ton of swaps though :)

My DBF is in the process of designing me a new scrapping desk and we're going to build it and get me more working space

I'm WAY behind, too! DH & I don't have kids yet, but I've been doing our "family" albums since we started dating. I've worked on that some, and then I've worked on Disney trips. My Disney albums are WAY too big--they average about 100-120 pages each, so that adds up. I'm trying to get another Disney album done before we go in September, but I'm also swapping, so I've got to get that done, too!

I will probably be behind FOREVER!!! :rotfl2:

What kind of album to you fit 100 pages in? I could easily do way more but I try to get it in a manageable sized album :)

I scrap an album for each child (milestones and day to day) and I try to keep up with a family album. More and more, I am leaning to themed albums. I just finished a digital one of our vacation to Hawaii. It was the kids' first trip and we were there almost 3 weeks, so tons of pics. I have a completed Disney album as well as a Christmas album. I love my Christmas one ~ 4-6 pages a year and it's current:rotfl2:

I am getting MUCH better about using a few representative photos in the albums. Whn my kids were little, I put almost ALL of the pics in ~ way too much (and way too many albums, too much $$, you get the picture - and the bad pun).

Hmmm. I have completed about 29 12x12 albums. 11 of them are of my oldest son, but in the beginning, everything went into that album, including family reunions and such. At some point I decided I should use his album for things specific to him and have a family album for me.

So, my ongoing albums are:
1. and 2. one for each boy
3. a family album
4. a nature album
5. a butterfly album (we raise butterflies in our living room)
6. and 7. a holiday album for each boy that gets one 8x10 family picture, one 8x10 Santa picture and one two-page layout of Christmas morning-each year
8. and 9. a scout album for each boy
10. and a family picture album which is just one page per year with an 8x10 of our family
11. a travel album for the places I visit, other than Disney. Disney gets it's own albums. First trip was two overly full 12x12 albums.

I use to scrap everything, but I've slowed way down. I do birthdays, graduations, magical moments, etc. but not just playing in the sprinkler things like I use to. I also don't print as many pictures now that I have my digital camera. I typically have at least one 8x10 or two 5x7's per two-page layout and 4x6's or wallets for the rest.

I have made a variety of projects this year. I am working on my Disney albums (we go so often that I do an album for each park and a seperate one for restraunts and another for hotels. Many pages are just waiting for one more picture of an attraction or such that we haven't taken and will take the next time we are there so when i come back I print the picture and the layout is done. I also did a couple of baby albums this year for teachers who were having babies and a grandmom's brag book for my mom all of those were 8 by 8 albums.

I scrap fairly simply except for swap items that I use.

Well.... I am doing on-going life albums for each child (DS and DD) in 12 x 12 format. I do an album for each of them for each major trip (WDW, Washington DC, etc), also in 12 x 12. I try to keep current with an ongoing garden/home album for my Dad ( 8 1/2 x 11). I also just completed three 8 x 8 memorial albums for my nephews (total of 93 pages). I did a 50th birthday album for my SIL last February, and a long-term THANK YOU album for another SIL last November. What I really need to do is stop making the gifts and get caught up on my kids life books. I am a SAD distance behind. So anyhow, even if I didn't have kids, I would still have plenty to scrap, but definitely the kids is what keeps me so busy.

I would LOOOOOVE to do a heritage album for my family, and I went to far as to collect old photos and other papers from family members and made copies, but the thought of this is SO overwhelming, I have yet to begin.

Good luck with your projects........................P

I'm working on finishing my Disney book from our January trip. I also am working on my Antietam digital book, MI at Gettysburg digital book, and my family digital book.

I also still have to finish:
-Gettysburg 2006
-2 Chicago trips (Sept 2005 and Jan 2006)
-Mackinac Island - April 2006
-Universal Studios - Jan 2007
-Titanic Experience - Jan 2007
-Greenfield Village trips (2002-2007)

I need to start:
-Gettysburg 2007
-Washington DC 2006
-Chicago - Sept 2006
-Chicago / Kalamazoo - June 2007

And soon I'll be adding Salem and Boston to my list! Oy! Though I am ALMOST done with Disney. I have a bunch I need to take pictures of. I have the layouts done, I just need to attach the journaling and embellish.

I only have one DD so usually do a consecutive album for each year, birthday album, x-mas album, dance album and of course DISNEY. I am caught up to spring 2007 and only 1 Disney trip behind, with one planned for DLR in OCT and WDW in Jan.

Goal is to be "caught up" by Nov due to the WDW trip and we are also taking an Alaska cruise in June with my family so those will be HUGE trip with 1000+ pics to go through :scared1: .

Just keep scrapping a bit at a time and it will get done, until you take more pics that is.

Lisa

I scrap almost everything, but only in one "family" album. I'm also working on our WDW 2007 album, it's about halfway finished. I'm behind ini the family album because life got in the way of scrapping for awhile, but I'll get there.

Lots of great suggestions to keep things organized. Thanks everyone.

Congratulations to you all.

Wish I could make it.

Maybe next year.

That will be my goal
