Master Bedroom Remodelling

We finally got our bedroom finished. We have been doing home renovations since we moved in to this house 2 1/2 yrs ago. The house has been in my family for 40 yrs. My grandparents owned it, sold it to my parents and we bought the house from my dad. After my mom died, my dad didn't really do any major changes to the house. So we started little by little. So here are the before and after pictures for you to peruse if you like!

We did the kitchen in March/April of this year as well.

Looking really nice. I can relate to 4 strips of wallpaper-it is a huge hassle.

We just actually started renovating our master bedroom. We're adding a bath and more closet space as well. After renovating our kitchen in 2003, it took us a while to get back into the renovating frame of mind. At least the bedroom is less interruption to the family.

Maryliz, yes it is Colorado Slate. I love the colours in it.

The kitchen reno was a major hassle, but so worth it!

Marilyn, you did an amazing job! I love wallpaper but I hate taking it down. I really like the toile in the bedroom, it is very elegant. I adore your window mouldings, they are to die for. I can see why you might choose a toile for in there. I used the Sunworthy pink Pooh&Piglet one in my dd's room. I think every house should have some toile, even just a little pillow! Way to go!!!

I love before and after photos. The kitchen is gorgeous and I love the wallpaper and mouldings in the bedroom. Can't wait to see the furniture in the bedroom!!
