nothing will solve the problem. Outlawing removable magazines will reduce the problem. Lets not forget this guy fired 0ff 150 rounds in a dark nightclub in a very short time. Seatbelts did not end car crash deaths, they reduced car crash deaths. We will always have crazy people, that does not mean we should give them guns.

If you follow these shooters, none were high level criminals who obtained illegal weapons in the black market. They bought them at Dicks, with a credit card no doubt

I said this earlier and I'll say it again.

If a classroom full of 6 to 7 year olds being gunned down doesn't bring about change, and people are still scared of and defending against gun control, nothing will change. Nothing. The killing of our children is not as important as having our guns.

I am all for gun control as long as we do it across the board with reasonable rules & regulation. Believe me I have seen first hand what guns in the wrong hands do. And the funerals that resultThe problem I see is the hodge podge of rules & regs that cannot be enforced uniformly.

Clearly Isis can no longer be contained.Their hatred is systemic, and the evil that flows from it is spreading at an alarming rate. What a tragedy for victims, families, and our entire country when radical fanatics, inspired by Islamic extremists kill Americans, and unleash their sick violence upon innocent citizens. Every act of terrorism on US soil is a declaration of war, and the fact that such horrific events have become repetitive is deeply disturbing.
Our flags will once again be lowered as our nation mourns for the victims. Politicians will make poignant speeches, and offer their condolences, and we will watch the sorrowful stories unfold on national news. Then we wait for the next attack, because sadly, we expect it. Today will go down in history as the city of Orlando's 9/11. I don't want my town to be next. This is an emotionally charged issue, as Americans we all have a stake in this. It is not going away; it is us against Islamic Jihad.

I actually only just heard about this like 2 hours ago. I just wasn't looking at any news this weekend. What a terrible tragedy and senseless act. To have this follow the shooting of the singer in Orlando as well makes for a tragic weekend in a city that I know most of us here have strong feelings for. There are just no words to describe something like this. My heart goes out to the victims and families, and I hope for recovery for the wounded.

Just caught the tail end of an interview with one of the survivors, but it sounded like he was saying that the exits were padlocked shut. The shooter was able to just stand at the main entrance and they were all trapped inside with no other means of egress. If true, the nightclub owners are going to have a lot to answer for.

That's interesting. I was saying to my husband earlier today that I thought that emergency exits might be an issue.
