I saw a report that at least one of the shooters was an officer.

It is always so fluid when different agencies are reporting as things are happening and information is coming from everywhere. I am still hoping they are wrong that they are soldiers. That is just so incomprehensible to me.

The name is major Hasan and it says Army doc but the website it leads to lists a different doctors name

Is it possible this is some sort of a Post Traumatic Stress type of thing? I guess I feel like there has to be some rationalization for this. Probably isnt though.

They just said that he was about to be deployed. But I wonder if he has served before?

Has not hit the AP Wire yet but the local news is reporting a mass shooting at the Family Readiness Center at Fort Hood. No specific details except 7 dead and 12 injured.
God Bless all affected!

I just dropped my daughter off at of family readiness center for class and felt sick to my stomach after reading this. Prayers out to the families
