Maryland DISers!

I have a job that I can do anywhere. Moving to Florida is in my future. Not sure when, but one day. I also cannot stand winter weather...if I never see snow again, it will be too soon. I just want to go as far south as possible.

Remember all the snow we got end of January beginning of February 2010? That is what we got home just in time to experience after 10 magical days at Disney. I decided that a goal was to eventually move somewhere between Disney and the ocean !!!

Oh man, that had to be terrible! We love visiting WDW in Jan/Feb and always grumble when we come home to the cold, ice and snow. I HATE WINTER!!!! I want to be as close to Disney and the beach as possible!

Ooo, do tell...why did you hate it? I am open to hearing the good and the bad about Florida life. Do you like Maryland?

I'll be glad to come back and post some more - but I have to run out and pick up my DD from school and my farm share for the week (BTW, I don't fit the "singles" category, but I am an adult! LOL. The MD thread title had just caught my attention!). I will try and stop by later and say more!

Glen Burnie / Elkridge DISer here. We just went on our first trip to WDW from 5/14-5/25 and are thinking of going back for the F&W Fest in 2012. We are also an adults-only, no kid couple (even though we love the little ones! I was gushing over all the little princesses!) and as my fiancee says, we have officially "drank the Disney kool-ade". We're hooked!

Nice to see a lot of other Marylanders on the list!

I went to see "Pirates - On Stranger Tides" yesterday in 3D! It was awesome and I loved it!

did you wait till ther end *stupid question I know*... it was just hilarious... the list of acknowledgement was toooooo long that the ushers were already giving us the heavy breathing ans sighing so we would leave... the true geekers... there's a bout 4 us who waited.. and I am so glad I did.. give me the hope of a another POTC in the making... maybe not soon but there's home :)

moving to Florida... responsibilities will not let me do anything for the next 2 yrs.. but even if I can.. I might be moving more north than south... I will miss Nor'easter terribly :)

I did stay for the last scene at the end of the credits. It was pretty funny. I do hope that there is another Pirates movie.

I'm across the border in PA, just wanted to say that A few weeks ago I read that Pirates 4 was the first of the next trilogy,

then A week or so later I read that the intent is to make all future Pirates movies, stand alone movies, either way both sources said there are 2 more movies already planned...pirate:pirate:

It's one of those things that just remind you... "Even if you are Johnny Depp and a cool pirate.... Beware of pissing off a woman." :rotfl::rotfl:

So which one is our resident pirate: going to appear in?

We saw Pirates in 3D and I loved the movie. However, I was not impressed with the 3D. I later read that the movie was not shot in 3D but retro fitted after the fact. Not sure why. Regardless, I like the last scene after the credit. Very good. A lot of people left as the credits were rolling except us and another couple.

That's odd, I swore I read somewhere that this was the first time a 3D camera was brought onto a location such as the wildlife in Hawaii and something about having to protect the cameras from water. Maybe I'm confusing it with something else. :confused3
