Hey everyone

I'm not sure if anyone's already listed this link but I was sort of disappointed to find out there is no mention of this on the official disney theatrical website!?

Here it is: http://www.marypoppins.com

The official website of the Mary Poppins Theatrical Production in London!

It's a cooperative production between Disney and Cameron Macintosh. It's not a full-out Disney production, which could be why it's not on the Disney Theatricals site.

Maybe, but they've got information about Aida. Perhaps they'll be updating the site in the future?

Yes, but Aida is a full-out Disney Theatricals presentation, whereas Mary Poppins is not. It is a Disney / Cameron Macintosh production. It is also premiering in London, where Disney does not have a Theatricals presence. If and when Poppins comes to NYC, I'm sure it will show up on the Disney Theatricals site.

What do you consider a theatrical presence? The Lion King is there, Beauty and the Beast was there until 1999, I've heard plans to bring Aida there....

He means they don't own a theater there.

Yes, but none of those three started in London -- they moved there from Broadway ... from the US, where they were developed. "Hunchback" in Berlin was a Disney production as well, but not under the banner of Disney Theatricals. I don't know why it's done that way -- that the stage shows that originate in Europe are not on the DTP website -- but I would imagine it's because those are done in partnership with other production companies based in England or Germany and not soley produced by Disney.

However, this production was mentioned earlier this month at the Disney Company stockholders meeting held in Philadelphia.
