I'm getting tired of the way Entertainment Tonight seems to be glorifying it and gushing over the details of the "impending nuptials." Their reporter was just giddy when she talked over the wedding details with MKL and whatsisname. She actually asked the question "Are you going to be nervous on your wedding night?" Yeah, lady, I'm sure they are - they've already had two kids together.

If they're both now of legal age and want to get married, that's fine by me. I just wish the media would stop playing it up.

yes, the fact that she is out of jail infuriates me much more than whatever wedding might be planned.

I hate the way the news media constantly throws crap like this in our faces and then insists that we MUST be interested.

Yes - I was thinking these two kids will be the only ones who really benefit from this. Very very sad for her other 4 kids though.

Yeah, she also has 4 children by her ex-husband that live in Alaska. Her husband basically said that he fled to Alaska to escape the media and be reclusive. I am more concerned about how those 4 kids were affected.

Hey- I'm not saying it's "right" but they are adults now. I think she's mentally ill but if Villi wants to marry her there's nothing anyone can do about it.

As far as the stigma goes, I don't know a single person who thinks what she did was okay.

Her other 4 children are better off without her.... their Dad seems to have done a good job keeping them out of the spotlight.

This is exactly what I am talking about with the double standards.

Just look at the replies this thread has about the subject. Villi loves her and he is of legal age, so mind our business.

But, if Villi was a "Vicky" and Mary K was a "Mark", and "Mark" inpregnanted "Vicky" TWO times before her 18th birthday, and news broke that "Mark" was out of prison, "Vicky" was deeply in love with him, and they were getting married, I think the opinions of some of the people here would be much different. Regardless of whether or not "Vicky" was of legal age, there would be a public out cry, I am sure of it.

I honestly don't think that it would matter if he was she and she was he (if that makes sense). The relationship didn't start out legally or morally correct, but right now they're both of legal age. If they want to get married and make fools of themselves on national television why should I get worked up about it? If you don't want to see it change the channel, thats what I did.

I didn't read all the posts so am just stating my opinions. They are both legal now, leave it be, if they want to be together so be it.

There are plenty of people out there who ruin marriages and families everyday and are now living or married to the very person their ruined their marriage with.

It wasn't right when he was a minor but they are both legal now I wish them happiness. I really do.

She is obviously not a mentally stable woman. A bit of info on her. When she was I believe 9yo her mother had her watch her little brother. She didn't pay attention, he wandered into the pool and drowned.
Her upbringing was very strict and her parents had the children removed from their schools to avoid sex ed. Then her father was found to be having a series of affairs. This culminated in a woman becoming pregnant. The woman was a student or former student of his and much younger. He was a very well known person with political ambitions so this was very public knowledge and he had to remove himself from an election he was running for.
Her husband was continually unfaithful thruout their marriage.
This does not excuse anything she did. I just know that when I read this info it changed my thoughts about her to some degree. She had a series of things happen to her that probably created some serious mental problems.
