I saw that earlier today and decided to do some math. I can't wait to see what the actual deal looks like because if I'm even close to correct, we may be in for decent hotel discounts.
Since junior would have to buy an adult ticket, I added the cost of 3 adult and 1 child's 5 day base ticket since everytime Disney advertises a package, they count the tickets for every day - including arrival and departure day. With the difference, split that by 4 nights puts a room at a value (which she's stating they'll be advertising at the $999 rate) at just a hair under $55 a night.
If my math proves to be close to on target, it looks like the room portion may work out to some of the similar deals we've had in the past - they're just taking away the chance to buy tickets from a discount reseller as well as covering their rears with the Best Rate program since it's not a room only rate that would beat any rates that AP holders already have.
So yeah, can't wait to see what the deluxe packages work out to be!
