I grew up watching most of he & his brother's (Sid) shows.
They were so much fun!

My aunt used to LOVE watching Sid And Marty Krofft shows when she was little and my mother had to sit and watch with her because my aunt always loved to show my mom new cartoons and shows that she watched. Of course my aunt's favorite Krofft show was HR Pufinstuf although my aunt had a big fear of the witch in the show but my mom disliked it because it was weird. Do you remember the band Captain Kool And The Kongs? That was another Marty Krofft project and I had gotten the record of Captain Kool And The Kongs at a Goodwill and I thought their music was cool

A lot of the Sid & Marty stuff was a little before my time, though some of it was still on when I was a kid. It was out there, but so creative and cool. My sister and I really dug Land of the Lost.

The 70s was Sid and Marty Krofft to me. We watched the shows religiously, and they were weird as heck but so enjoyable. My favorite was Sigmund the Sea Monster. RIP, sir. Your imagination made my childhood better!

Very creative and ahead of their time. There was the early animators like Disney , Clampett Jones etc… Then Hanna Barbara and Ward in the next phase . Krofts took it to the next level with live action animation

For me, it was mainly Lidsville, Electra Woman and Dyna-Girl, and that bizarre show (doesn't narrow it down much, I realize) with Ruth Buzzi and Jim Nabors. I watched that stuff a lot. I think live-action Wonder Woman came on around the same time as Electra Woman's show, and someone argued with me at school about whether Wonder Woman could beat her up or whatever. That was an important controversy for grade school students at the time.

Here's an amazing fact about the Sid And Marty Krofft shows. One of the stars of Land Of The Lost Wesley Eure moved on to become a game show host for Nickelodeon when he hosted his lone Nickelodeon game show Finders Keepers in 1987. And another interesting fact is that Sid And Marty Krofft also created and produced the sitcom Family Affair as well and the female singer of Captain Kool And The Kongs is former game show host Louise Duart who hosted the game show Rodeo Drive on the Lifetime Network
