We are just trying to decide which one is better. We usually stay at a Disney Deluxe, but there doesn't seem to be any general discounts anymore, and we need the extra space. Going into a DVC is out of our price range. We got a great rate with AAA, for both Marriott hotels, now we are trying to decide. We did stay ay the Sable Palms-for one night-and loved it. What is the difference, if any, between the two??? :rolleyes1

on tug - Royal gets more complaints, on trip advisor, too - than Sabal.

they are both in marriott world center.

you know you can rent points from a DVC member and stay in OKW. 2-bedroom (summer/spring break) - $300 a night, - same room different season (off - Sept, Jan, Dec 1-14) - $220 a night.

a 1-bedroom is $220 (s/s) and $160 (off)

there are other reasons - but those are generally the highest and lowest.

We stayed at the Royal Palms last Sept for 7 nights and loved it. We had the two bedroom unit which was great. The second BR had a double and a day bed so my DF slept in the reg. bed and 4 yo DD slept in the day bed.

We also felt very safe there while a hurricane named Jeanne came to call. :earseek: Hoping to never do that again.
