Hi,

Has anyone used the shuttles from the Marriott Orlando World Center to a Disney Park (Magic Kingdom)? How was the experience, timeliness, etc.?

I am helping a friend plan a visit to the Magic Kingdom (2 days), who will be staying there and want to make sure they know what to expect.

Thank you!

Stayed there in Sept '15 for a business meeting and decided to hit Disney one day. It is cheeper, and a lot quicker, to UBER over. The shuttle was not free. If you wanted it, you had to pay a resort fee of (I think) $22 a day. Uber was around $5.

Thank you. I see the resort fee is up to $25 now. Their stay is being donated by another friend so they won't have to pay the fee. I think they would prefer the shuttle, so I was curious to how easy and helpful the process of scheduling a shuttle is. If it is unreliable or a hassle to do so, I would want to let them know that they should look for an alternative. I'm pretty confident they have never used Uber before, but will direct them to do so if it makes sense.

I had inquired at the desk originally...I think they said the shuttle runs every 1/2 hour and they would have to call for it to make a stop.
