Marriott Cypress Harbour

Cypress is one of my favorite offsite resorts. The villas are huge and very comfy. They just remodeled in the last couple years and upgraded the furniture and kitchen.

The 2nd bedroom is on the tiny side, but still fits a queen size and sofabed. It's window faces the exterior walkways.

The apartment door faces a long foyer. The first door on the right is the laundry room (a full size laundry rather than a closet). The foyer is at an angle so while the kitchen is at the end and the 2nd bedroom /bathroom across from it, you can't see either from the entrance door.

The resort has added a mini-golf course and a nature trail in recent years as well. It's a place you can easily live at the whole week and not want to go to Disney.

Thanks from us too. We leave 4 weeks from today. Looking forward to some nice R&R and to get away from the cold..

We checked in on Saturday 2/27. Very nice property. Too cold to participate in any outdoor activities. We are in building 54 on the first floor.
Since this is R&R, we have been sleeping late, and eating most of our meals out. Easy access to I4 or International Drive or World Center Drive.
It was rainy on Tuesday, and the Premium Outlets were packed. I guess out of town visitors shop when its COLD and rainy.
The temp right now at Marriott Cypress Harbor is 47 with a wind chill of 43. We wore our winter coats to Epcot..since it was very windy.

I'm thinking of booking this resort for our annual mom/son trip. I saw mini golf mentioned...does anyone know how much it is? Also, is there quick service food and how are the pools? We've stayed at Harbour Lakes (across the street) twice and my son LOVES it and all the activities, but sadly no redemption dates for when we want to go w/ marriott points.

I don't know the answer to that question, but you could send an email inquiry to Cypressharbour.Ram@vacationclub.com.
FWIW, the mini-golf set up is very small.

Also, is there quick service food and how are the pools? .

Next to the main clubhouse, where you check-in, are the Galley Grill and Pizza Hut Express - not blazingly quick service but the food is good. I believe that they will deliver to your villa. There's also a Marriott Marketplace convenience store there with Starbuck's coffee, Krispy Creme donuts, typical resort store goods and food products.
The pools are great. The main pool is at lakeside in front of the main clubhouse/Galley Grill/Pavillion Bar/Marketplace complex. A large community pool, one or two hot tubs and a childrens' waterplay area. Across the lake, via a short bridge, at the Island Pool area there's a lap pool that is connected to a second large community pool with a waterfall that comes off the roof of the sauna building at one end. There are two hot tubs at the Island Pool area. And there's a smaller pool area, called the Bayside pool, that's at the end of the lake next to Building 62 which, in turn, is next to the recreation/activities area that includes the mini-golf course. There's a hot tub at the pool area, too.

Not Ed, but I'd suggest Marriott's Harbour Lake. Not the highest end Marriott but the childrens' water features are pretty impressive and unique for Orlando Marriott timeshare resorts and this one was built more recently than the others (at least until Lakeshore Reserve opens in June).

Look them up at http://www.marriottvacationclub.com/vacation-resorts/marriott-harbour-lake/overview.html.
