Marriot Grande Vista--new pool?

A while ago I remember hearing about a new pool being built at the Grande Vista that was supposed to be done in June. Does anyone have any information on whether the pool area will be completed in June (or maybe even a few weeks earlier)?

Hi. I had actually emailed the hotel directly with this same question. Their reply basically said that, yes, there would be a new 'pool complex' completed in June but that they did not yet have a definite date. They also replied that because the work was still ongoing, they were not able to tell me exactly what the new complex would contain as far as slides, etc. Hopefully someone will visit and have better information than that!

We're going in May, so I guess it won't be ready...I'll try to take a peek at it and see what I can find out for you.

I sent an e-mail to Marriott as well. The answer I received just said that it is slated for opening in June. They did include a number to call the hotel directly which I will do probably next week.

Curious as my parents and brothers and sisters like to stay here on Interval International Getaways.
