So glad that Mickey and Henry were reunited at last! We brought along dd's prized possession, a stuffed Curious George, to WDW and as we packed on our last day, we coudln't find him. I looked everywhere, and became convinced that he was already packed in a suitcase. Got home, of course he was nowhere to be found. Luckily mousekeeping had found him hiding in our room, and he was mailed back to us!

Every year when I was little we used to go to downtown Philly to the Strawbridges (formally Wannamakers) in the Gallery to see Santa. One year I had a little clown doll with me (crocheted, not nearly as creepy as it sounds.) And I dropped him getting on an elevator. From my Mom's stories, they searched for over an hour until they found the right elevator!

So it doesn't sound that absurd to go looking for a plastic Mickey

Isn't amazing how the littlest toy can mean soooo much to a 3 year old?? I am so so happy they found that little Mickey for cute little Henry.

It was a great night - this was one of my favorite days of the whole trip! The WL brings back some fond memories, and while we were relaxed and not doing much, I was never bored or antsy.

It was a huge relief when Mickey was found!

I sure am glad that story of Mickey had a good ending! I was afraid it was going to turn out much differently We lost Alexa's little visor in EPCOT and the Guest Relations had a hard time finding it also. They went in multiple places, and finally were able to find it.

Love the pictures of Henry spinning that hat. So cute! I am so excited for you to move to BLT my FAVORITE

I was very ready to just tell Henry that Mickey was lost and we'd try to find him a new one... part of me wonders if they have a "stock" of some things in the back for the little ones. We would never know if it was his actual Mickey, or just a replica!

I became very fond of BLT, more than I thought I would! I miss walking into the Tower.

I am so glad you found little Mickey. Phew!!

After all that running around to find him, sounds like your evening turned out to be a good one.

It really did! It was overall a great day - one of my favorites from the whole trip.

HAHAHA I ALWAYS say "no dancing on the ride!!" So true. We took pictures last time pretending to dance on the ride. What jokers we are.
Oh my gosh I'm SO glad she found it!! That would have been such a let down! Poor henry! Thank goodness he was there after all that!

I clearly remember RUNNING through the rest of Future World to make it to Canada for Illuminations, we were laughing and just on that pixie dust high!

It was a great day from start to finish! Full of some good (and a bit crazy) memories too. Whenever we come across that Mickey in Henry's toys it makes us both roll our eyes!

It is funny what kids attach themselves too. That Mickey was definitely the toy of the trip. Something simple, small and free!

Henry talks about Soarin' at least once a week. I think he could use a Soarin'-fix.

Hurray for finding Mickey. Avery left her purse on the bus on our trip last spring. A week or so later it was mailed home to us!! Glad u also were able to see Illuminations.

It was really fun on the Boardwalk, that guy was incredible with Henry. Henry thought he was the neatest thing with that whistle in his mouth! I remember him trying to imitate the sound and be like him later in the trip.
