Marriage: The Trip Report - Update 2/28 - Final Thoughts & Link to Disneyland TR!

Happy Father's Day, Brook!
Hope you all have a lovely family day, with as much excitement as you need, and as much relaxation as Joe needs.

Love that you went off to MK on a whim just so H could fly to Neverland. :goodvibes. I am tired just thinking about your day!

Thanks for the Kiss Goodnight video. I have heard about it but never really knew exactly what it was.

I am sorry that Henry was scared at Test Track. I wonder whether little ones might get more easily scared when they get a bit older because they think more about consequences? I hope he will figure out that there is nothing scary about it, because the ride has so much potential to be his favourite I think. :goodvibes

Thanks for the many wonderful updates, I really enjoyed them!

haha poor Henry on TT. Such a cutie.

I'm gonna sound like a nut, but how old is he again? I'm so bad with ages.

Hey I hope Brook doesn't mind me answering for her! LOL

Henry is about 9 months older than Luke -- so you can just think of it as they are almost the same age & remember it that way! ;) I always remember because Henry was born a month earlier than my youngest nephew!

I think he's gonna be 4 in Sept.

Brook, I loved all of your updates!!! I promise that I'm still here -- I just normally read your updates really, really late at night (or waaay too early in the morning? However you want to look at it! LOL) so I don't post since my thoughts don't make sense at that time! :lmao: :lmao:

I loved your Epcot pictures, especially the family PhotoPass pic on the bridge!!! That F&GF border was cute too!!! :goodvibes

Your pictures of SAB make me want September to get here NOW!!! Thanks for posting the prices of the tubes -- we'll definitely be renting those, maybe even for an entire afternoon!!! I can't wait!!! I informed my DH today that I'm probably heading over to Epcot to watch Illuminations every evening except for the night of Wishes & MNSSHP!

Your pictures of the castle at night are gorgeous!!! I love the different angles you took -- I tried to do that last trip but it was hard while carrying a toddler! Hopefully this trip I'll get a few shots! I still am not sure why I didn't take the stroller with me that evening :confused3

Thanks for sharing all of Henry's reactions to the rides/shows. It will be very helpful when I go to make a final plan for what I think Luke can/will want to ride! I'm not sure about Soarin or Test Track with him -- but we'll see!

I love all of Henry's food choices!!! It seems that him & I have similar tastes! Love that chocolate mousse & also his choice at Sunshine Seasons!!! That's the meal I got last year & will probably try again this year!

Love ALL of your updates & pictures!!! I can't wait to hear more!!!

Brook - twice I read your update. Twice I tried to comment and something happened both times. Not sure if I said this yet, but your Aug trip sounds great. I want to be a TA. Loved you last update. Henry cracks me up and it looks like you are all having a great time!

This is so true! I can't tell you how many times DH and I are literally dragging our behinds at the end of the day and our girls are running/skipping/laughing at full speed! If only I could tap into that kind of energy source every once in a while!

Super sweet picture of Henry with Joe looking fondly at him. Very cute!

Been there, done THAT! I can see it so clearly Brook. You're not alone! At least your meltdown wasn't in search of an elusive Boardwalk community hall/center! ;) That's never happened before, right?

Aw, when they're that little, it is literally like flipping a switch. I love the phrase coined...wired to tired!!

I would love to be able to bottle the energy from kids, just a quick shot every now and again would certainly come in handy!! I cannot even imagine how much I could get done...maybe I could even catch up on the DIS! :lmao:

Isn't that picture cute of them on Pan? I almost took it out because it's not at a very good angle, etc. but with Henry ready to fly, and Joe's smile...I just thought it was too sweet to take out!

Never, no meltdowns over a Community Hall. :rolleyes1

I noticed the conversation below about making money off the "wired to tired" phrase! It's such a funny thing how they do that!

I think the screen is for the Magic, Memories, and You show.

I've seen videos of the Kiss Goodnight on youtube before. It seems like a really cool way to end the night. So cute! :goodvibes Too bad I'm never out late enough for anything like that. :rotfl:

That could be!! It makes sense.

It really is a neat way to end the night - the words over the loudspeaker really made for a great moment - I wish you could hear them in my video! But all well! You have got to stay out late one night and see the parks CLOSE! LOL

After seeing this picture, I had to go and look at our most recent TT picture.

Photo0262FourBySix.jpg

It kinda looks like my DS doesn't like the ride either, but he never complains. Now he also never asks to ride it again. I did just ask him if he liked TT and he said yes and I asked if it scares him and he said no not really, just sometimes the hot room. But nothing else. So who knows, little boys are hard to understand sometimes...actually boys of all ages are hard to understand. TT is a ride that I can take it or leave it, so riding it one time is good enough for me. But now when my DS had issues this last time on riding EE a second time with me, I was like what I thought you loved EE, which I have a picture with his hands up to prove it and he was only 4 then. But I think EE was running super fast that day, is that even possible? I just know that I love it and for some reason that day it seemed to be faster and more intense. Thoughts?

Loving the TR. I love that you guys were in Epcot and Henry wanted Peter Pan, so you guys just hip hopped over there. One day when we have annual passes or spring for the the park hopper again, we will do that. Until then I keep my DS thinking about riding rides in a certain order or at a certain time. Takes some of the fun out of it though. I really like your way better.

So cool about your bus driver dropping you guys off and his attitude. It's amazing how just a small thing like that can make a day even brighter at Disney.

Henry has said the SAME thing about the hot room! So strange! I wonder if they think they will really get burned? Who knows!

As for EE running faster, I do think it's possible, I'm not completely sure on the track system of that ride, but usually coasters like that get all their momentum from the various hills and "run free" otherwise. So, depending on the weight in the cars, it can certainly run faster. I have had rides on EE that seemed MUCH more intense than others. The back seats seem to whip a lot more on that ride too! Henry said he wants to ride the "crazy train roller coaster" (BTMRR) again, so we'll see how he does there. He talks about Test Track all the time too! :confused3:laughing:

It's so smart to keep them thinking about riding rides in a certain order though...you get so much more done!!! It is kinda fun to just go with the flow, but this trip had too much of that for me and we missed out on SO much. In August we are going to have both - in the mornings we will be certain rides in certain order, and not allow Henry to make the decisions, but once we get those top rides done, we'll go with the flow again. We ended up criss-crossing the park so many times, and we have seriously covered more in a 1 week trip! So, both ways have their good points...we'll see if the perfect mix can be found! :scratchin

I was a few updates behind but I will write what I remember. I really should take notes. In particular order here they are.

Jon had the turkey and cheese sandwich from the CS in France and he loved it. I fact he has started making the same sandwich here at home.

Lexi wanted to go on Test Track and we went all the way through and then we she changed her mind. So Jon went and then I went. (It was a walk on so we didn't have to wait.)

Lexi and Henry would get along very well as they both love to dig.

We loved the strawberry shortcake too!!!!

We have started to make those sandwiches at home too! We have very similar bread here too, which is nice!

That's too bad about Lexi changing her mind on Test Track. I wonder what about it scares kids - really it's only that last lap that is even a tad frightening...I remember as a kid freaking about roller coasters, but I think I would have had Test Track down at a young age. Who knows though! Hopefully she rides next trip! ::yes::

If our trips overlapped, we could have a meet in one of the sandboxes and just let them dig, dig, dig while we took turns on the big rides! I bet they would have a ball together!!

Isn't that strawberry shortcake amazing?!?! I could seriously go for a piece at ANY time. Even when I'm not hungry, I stuff it in!

Awww poor little Henry He does look a bit scared on TT....hopefully he gets excited about it again...I remember how he was so thrilled to be able to ride that and Soarin :goodvibes
Just love his pictures with his scrunched up nose!!! Always makes me smile!! :goodvibes
You sure packed a lot into you day...now to sleep with dreams of digging in the sand ;)

Tracy

I hope he gets into Test Track again too! He insists that it doesn't scare him now, he's ready to ride. So we'll see come August. I'll be sure to take him over there during the DAY to see if that helps too! I honestly didn't even think of that during our trip. :headache:

Awww. Poor Henry looks so scared. I swear the older they get , the more logical they get and then start becoming scared of rides the loved in the past. Jack's that way. He doesn't want to ride anything fun. I'm hoping his friend will influence him some this trip. If not I will be riding with the BFF since his parents don't like the "thrill" rides either. I guess we are making our own child swap. lol

I totally would have hopped over to MK to ride PP also. Sometimes it's just got to be about the kids. :rolleyes1

Ok so I have to ask, who's Ron Miller:confused3

It's true! The older they get, the more they get afraid of things...Henry told me later he thought the car on Test Track would flip over. Even with my reassurance, he was convinced it could!

I hope Jack's friend convinces him to ride the thrills! I bet he'd love them if he tried. I was a completely scardey cat when I was young, but as soon as I tried my first real coaster, I was HOOKED. I hope to skip that phase with H.

Oooh, hopping to MK late-night without kids = ::yes:: Joe and I were able to do that back in 2009 when his parents came. That was the best part of the trip!!! Loved those late nights!

Wired to Tired. That should be a patented phrase. :lmao::lmao:

:rotfl:

Poor little guy does look terrified! Wonder what caused the switch? They are hard to figure out at that age!

Awwwww, he is a boy after my own heart though with his love for Peter Pan :goodvibes

They are hard to figure out! Later in the trip (or maybe when we got home?) he told me he thought the Test Track car could flip over and go off the track...so that would explain it! I reassured him it couldn't, so we shall see what August brings. We will try to ride during the day this time!

He LOVES Peter Pan! I have it scheduled into our MK day, bright and early, so he can get his ride on! I knew you'd be proud of one of his new favorites! :goodvibes

I agree! Little boys all seem to have the storm before the calm. Jack still speeds up when he's tired...then crash!

It's so funny, isn't it? Henry gets completely WACKY! Just loopy and hilarious!

:lmao: So true! Do little girls do this, too? Or is it just little boys?

And boy did you cover a lot of ground that day! I'm impressed by your stamina. And how do you get Henry to stay up so late? Although, Max has been staying up much later since the time changed, but I still want your secret! :rotfl:

Sugar! :lmao: No really, I have no idea. Henry seems to do well with staying up pretty late usually...he crashes almost the second we get on the bus usually though! Lately we have stayed out pretty late in the City a couple nights, and he's even stayed awake the entire train ride home. I have GOT to fix that for school in September!

And, I just thought of it - but that could be it. Since I stay home with him, we don't ever wake him up (or very rarely), so he probably sleeps later than most kids his age too.

I don't think it's gender specific! My youngest was notorious for going full speed and then wham! She'd pass out in the stroller or daddy's arms. Honestly, she'd konk out so fast, I'd check her breathing to make sure she was actually alive! Oh how much I'd get done in one day if I had that kind of energy.:sad2:

Henry does it that way too! Go, go, go and BOOM! Out! Just the other day he did that while we were out in the City. He was babbling away, then I looked in his stroller and he was sound asleep!

That was very nice of you to go to MK for Peter Pan! I can't say with absolute certainty that I would have done the same, especially when tired ("but it's all the way over thereeeee!")

I'm glad that Peter Pan did cheer Henry up! Rides can be totally different in the dark!

I think in the moment I felt pretty awake and ready for anything - then started to crash on the monorail. The quiet hum and swaying of the monorail practically put me to sleep! LOL

Or how rich we could be if we could bottle it and sell it!

I like the way you think!!! ::yes::

Definitely looks like Henry was giving TT a thumbs down in that photo.

More scrunched up face pics - sooo cute!

What a nice mom and dad to park hop for just a few rides! :goodvibes Love the lit-up night manager window. There are still so many details I have not noticed - one of the many reasons we have to keep going back! :thumbsup2

Jordan (my DD) does not get wild but when she hits the wall very quickly and it is all over when that happens.

Isn't the scrunched up face adorable?! I love it. I know he's really having a good time when he does that-it's his real smile.

I had never seen that window lit up before either! I love those clever little details. Someday I'm going to spend more time on Main Street and really look at all the windows and what they say....or I'll just buy the book. ;)

Wow, you are a posting machine!! Probably because you know you've got a few more days left on this TR :rolleyes1, you've got ANOTHER solo TR that you'll end up writing, AND a PTR for your upcoming TA trip!!! Post away, my friend, post away!:goodvibes

So, TT wasn't a winner that night. So sorry about H not feelin' it. It looks like you're ready to ROCK though!
side note:Am I a completely clueless DISer and did not know that you can get ride photos on your PhotoPass card??:confused3 If that's the case, I missed out on some pretty awesome photos from our April trip.:sad1:

Wow, the crowds in that MK picture look pretty fierce!! Glad that PPF made him a happy guy.

Have awesome bus driver, will travel! I agree that they truly make the full bus rides more bearable.

Yes! Exactly! I have many more days here - then another TR - then a PTR! All before AUGUST. Which is hilarious at the speed I'm going here. :rotfl: I'll be lucky if I finish before our next family trip in February! I still have a crazed thought that someday I'll catch up on the DIS again and it will be easy to post/update on a regular basis. Ha!

No! You aren't clueless! Test Track is the only one that has the Photopass. I wish they all did! It's strange that they have it for that ride and none of the others.

yah it hasn't rained in a few days!!!!

It's supposed to rain here today - and of course I wanted to take Henry and his playdate friend to the park! :headache:

I'm so sorry Henry has had a change of heart about TT. Something about being 3 gives them fears.

You are the bestest mommy ever to hop right on over to MK just to ride Peter Pan. I don't know if I would have been able to do that.

I love the wired to tired phrase. It reminds me of Michelle (almost 21) when she was little. The more tired she got the more hyper she got. If she sat down she was out. One Halloween after walking the neighborhood collecting candy she was wired. She literally ran around the living room in circles. As soon as she sat still she was out.

I hope you got some good rest and woke up the next morning with your happy hat on.

It is that age when they start to have fears and a bit of logic - we are currently going through the "monster" stage too.

:rotfl: that's so funny about Michelle! That is just how Henry is too. He gets so LOOPY and silly when he's tired! He sometimes has a short meltdown right before sleep though too...I try to avoid those! LOL

Did Henry ever tell you why he didn't like TT? Thats so weird. You would think it would be right up his alley!

Only on Test Track.

He did! But, I'm not certain if it was during the trip, or at home...he thought the car would flip over! :sad2: I reassured him a dozen times since then that it wouldn't. So we'll see what August brings!

I loved how you hopped over to MK to ride Peter Pan. Also love the phrase "Wired to Tired".

It was totally spur of the moment and we were all game for it! The monorail ride almost put me to sleep though!

I just found this report and got caught up - Love it! I really enjoy your writing! :goodvibes:thumbsup2

:welcome: Thank you!! More coming soon, I promise!

I'm impressed that you all kept going, I think I'd have drug everyone to bed after test track. Gotta love that monorail and the ability to do just what you did though!

Hope that blister doesn't become an issue....

We just go and go and go at Disney sometimes - of course we also never make Rope Drop. :rolleyes1

Poor Henry looks so scared in the TT pic

I know! I feel so bad! I really had no idea at the time he was that frightened. Poor baby. (Oh, he told me yesterday not to call him baby anymore... :sad2: Growing up!)

I LOVE that you hopped the monorail just to ride Pan, how spontaneous and fun! That is what Disney vacations are all about!

So sorry that Henry was not feeling TT that night, I hope he got his car ridin' mojo back by the end of the trip!

It was totally just spur of the moment, let's go! sorta thing! It was fun - and looking back, despite the wild child of the evening, I'm glad we did it! I hate wasting precious FPs too!

Catching up now that we have power back. My neighbor, who really is nice and not at all as foolish as this, dug a whole line of 3-foot fence-post holes without first calling the power & gas companies to come mark where their lines are. What was he thinking? :confused3 Never mind the inconveniece to me, how do you take such a risk when you've just become a father? Anyway, he escaped electrocuting himself, and three days later, we're back up and running. I'd hate to see his bill to fix the line!

Love monorailing to MK for a medicinal dose of PP after that TT trauma. Good mommy! Also, I wonder if we might have just stumbled upon a strong factor in the "can't-get-to-RD" syndrome you mentioned before.

Sounds like Henry was textbook wired to tired. Familiar territory. Our soundtrack typically included the classic whine/scream "I'm NOT tired!!!" With DD, that signalled she'd drop dead asleep in about 3 minutes. :rotfl:

Oh my word!!!!!!! That is SCARY! He must have just had a moment of forgetfulness and just wanted to get the fence done. If he's a new father, that makes total sense - lack of sleep! Poor guy - and what a hassle for you too! Ugh.

That bill will not be pretty. Yikes.

(But what a story to tell their child when they are older! LOL!)

Oh yes, I think you have stumbled upon the "I can't get to Rope Drop Syndrome" we stay out WAY too late! :rotfl2: I always think, if we don't stay out late, we can get up earlier -- but so far, we just get addicted at night and don't get up! Usually it's fine, the crowds in the parks at night are much like the AM, but not so much from this trip it seemed!

We get the "I'm NOT tired!!!" now!!! Oh yes, and sometimes a few tears mixed in as well! Then....BOOM! Out! LOL!

Poor Henry -- he certainly doesn't look happy on Test Track, but I would have been the same way you were -- unless the kids actually say something, I don't always notice things like that.

I would have been dead on my feet by the end of the night -- I am right there with you -- when the kids are super hyper at night it makes me even more tired.

Hopefully with some rest, you are able to shake the crankiness. It usually does the trick for me! :goodvibes

Exactly - and he was acting very hyper/normal throughout the entire line...so I figured all was well!! Perhaps he forgot about the scary parts? :confused3

Oh gosh, when he gets hyper and crazy and disobedient, it sends me right to Mommy Meltdown. It's so hard for me to handle! Thankfully I have a pretty chill kid overall, otherwise I'd always be a wreck! It's something I've been trying to work on -- patience during the crazies and his melting!

I see you have a new PTR going! :hyper: I'm sure I'll be on page 892 by the time I catch up, but I WILL be there.

Ron Miller was married to Walt Disney's daughter Diane. Try saying THAT ten times fast! He was a cutie patootie when he was younger.

No kidding! Rich enough to go to Disney at least once a month probably! :goodvibes

Ah! I didn't know who he was either!

I think if I were that rich, I might just buy a house down there. ::yes:: That could work for me!

Hi, there! Subbing WAY late and can't wait to go back and read!

For now I'll just say....Henry is adorable! Nice to meet you and can't wait to read all about your experiences!

:welcome: Thank you for reading and posting!!!

Thanks for the info. And maybe even rich enough to buy one of the fancy houses the are building on property.

Yes! Now we are talkin'! Golden Oaks, here we come!

Great update, Brook. Funny how one year Henry likes TT and the next he doesn't so much.

I so remember those days that they would all of sudden have all this energy and all I wanted to do was crawl in bed and go to sleep.

But it sounds as if you had a great day and no meltdown from mom. :goodvibes

Isn't this age so fickle? I suppose it will be like this for a while as he grows up and learns the ways of the world!

It's hard when they are SO energized and all we adults want to do is close our eyes. That happened to me last night right before dinner time too - I was sooooo tired and Henry was literally bouncing on my lap!

I'm glad that PPF did put a smile back on his face. And I agree with the others: you're awesome for park hopping for him like that :)

He just loves Peter Pan! It is a very cute ride, I look forward to riding again in August!

You guys are so sweet to think my Park Hopping was something special - we were all still raring to go at that point, and I hate to waste a FP. I was totally gung-ho!! The gentle hum and sway of the monorail; however, almost put me into dreamland....!

I am embarrassed at how long I have been reading your TRs and am only now commenting -- please forgive my lurkdom! I adore reading about Henry's adventures because he reminds me so much of my daughter, Lucia. I am so excited for her to be tall enough to hit Soarin' and Test Track like Henry (and be potty-trained, too, you're my hero!).

Thank you for posting! No worries about lurking - sometimes it's just easier! :thumbsup2

That pic of your DD with Pluto is ADORABLE! Oh my word. How very, very sweet.

And Lucia - do you pronounce it Loo-Chee-Ah? That is my niece's name!

I hope she is soon tall enough for the "big rides" - it's SO much fun riding with your little ones! Soarin' is the best, I'll never forget Henry's face on that ride. :cutie:

And I wish you the best with potty training!!! Oy! That was not a fun time...I'm sooo incredibly thankful it's behind us!! Hopefully both yours go QUICKLY! Supposedly girls are easier than boys...so maybe, just maybe Lucia will be easy!

First off, I love your TT picture. Not the Henry being scared part but your expression and fist pump. That is classic!!!

And then the PP picture in front of the castle. Henry is winking?! That is adorable!!

How fun to hop over to MK just for a few rides. Great parents you and Joe are! :thumbsup2

 I told Joe he was a party pooper since he's the only one (aside from Henry) without his fist up in the air!! He still doesn't know where the camera is even though I have told him. Maybe next time. LOL

Hmmm...I was about to suggest that perhaps Henry was doing a pirate face, but this was pre-Pirate-obsession. I think maybe he was just smiling REALLY big and it looks that way. It's pretty cute. :cutie:

haha poor Henry on TT. Such a cutie.

I'm gonna sound like a nut, but how old is he again? I'm so bad with ages.

It's totally okay! He's 3 - will be 4 on September 1. There are just a few DIS kids to keep track of...so really, no worries! :goodvibes 3 is such a crazy age...so fun on one hand and so NOT fun on another!

I love that you just jumped on the monorail and hopped over to MK! It's that attitude of "We're in Disney World...Why not!?" That's what I love about Disney World!

Most of this trip definitely had that "why not?!" attitude. Especially early on-I felt like we had all the time in the world! Which was VERY fun...except for toward the end when I realized how much we hadn't done and I went into commando!

Joining in. Found your TR while enjoying another and just love reading about Henry and his fun. I hope you enjoyed your solo/friend trip as well. Can't wait to hear about the rest of your family trip and your quick solo trip.

:welcome: Thank you for reading and popping in here! More is coming very soon - perhaps even today! I need to get the solo trip written too-I could probably write it all very quickly/easily and post it in just a few days...:scratchin maybe that is just what I'll do...I have to do it soon before I forget the details, I didn't take any notes!

Looks like lots of fun was had in Magic Kingdom. Sometimes you just have to shift gears and do something you didn't have planned, and it often turns out to provide some of the best moments of the trip. Henry's smiles on Peter Pan and Buzz show his approval and happiness. Nice batch of pictures to get us ready to go back to Magic Kingdom very soon. :goodvibes

Yes, I agree! It's often those unplanned moments that are the best!!

You guys are SO close - I hope to get caught up with the fun over on your TR before you leave, I miss reading about everything and seeing those two sweet faces of Brooklynn and Bella!! :sad2:

Too bad Henry had had enough of Test Track. He did look scared in the picture. Do you think maybe it's because he was riding at night again?

Magic Kingdom sounds like fun. I love making spontaneous decisions like that at Disney. :cool1:

I think the night definitely had something to do with it. I am going to be sure we try during the DAY this time. He told me later in the trip (or after we got home, can't remember) that he thought the car could flip over and off the track. I have no idea what gave him that idea...but hopefully it's gone! :goodvibes

Happy Father's Day, Brook!
Hope you all have a lovely family day, with as much excitement as you need, and as much relaxation as Joe needs.

Thank you-I will pass that onto Joe! It was a nice day - pretty simple, but fun. I owe Joe a dinner out yet, we just need to make the plans!

Love that you went off to MK on a whim just so H could fly to Neverland. :goodvibes. I am tired just thinking about your day!

Thanks for the Kiss Goodnight video. I have heard about it but never really knew exactly what it was.

It was a LONG day! We were so tired! Do you think we made Rope Drop the next day?!? :lmao:

The Kiss Goodnight is nice - it's not something I would purposely stay for, unless someone with me wanted to, but it's an extra little touch. The Disney Voice guy comes over the intercom and says some magical things, the Castle changes colors and glistens a bit. Just a nice extra Disney touch - versus saying "The park is closed, get the heck outta here!" ;)

Yes, I do think it's just that! He had it in his head that the car could flip over (he told me this later) - so I can understand why that might make someone scared! I do hope he's over it though, I reassured him a dozen times or more that it couldn't.

Happy Father's Day to Joe!

I'll pass that onto him (even though I'm late! LOL) Thanks for thinking of him!

Hey I hope Brook doesn't mind me answering for her! LOL

Henry is about 9 months older than Luke -- so you can just think of it as they are almost the same age & remember it that way! ;) I always remember because Henry was born a month earlier than my youngest nephew!

I don't mind a bit! :goodvibes

I think he's gonna be 4 in Sept.

You guys are GOOD! I'm so impressed. I'm terrible at remembering ages/dates!

No worries about posting! I am lightyears behind on everyone's reports!!

You guys are going to LOVE SAB! It's really a beautiful and amazing pool! The tubes are fun, it's wonderful to drift around on the little lazy river loop. I don't know if the tubes can be used in other areas too? And yes! It's awesome to just pop into Epcot for dinner and Illuminations. Seriously, it makes me hooked on that resort area! Wishes is my favorite, but Epcot has better food.

Henry LOVED Soarin' from his very first ride, it's still a favorite for him! I bet Luke would enjoy it too. Henry doesn't even realize how far we are off the ground (and I'm not about to tell him! :rolleyes1)

I thought of you with that chocolate mousse knowing how much you like it! :goodvibes He practically licked that little cup clean! LOL

I thought it was mid-August :confused3

If its September, he's the exact same age as my nephew! Which means he's 8 months older than Luke! :goodvibes

September! But, he was due in August.

Brook - twice I read your update. Twice I tried to comment and something happened both times. Not sure if I said this yet, but your Aug trip sounds great. I want to be a TA. Loved you last update. Henry cracks me up and it looks like you are all having a great time!

The DIS is eating your posts! :headache: Speaking of being a TA, I think I have a PM from you...don't I? I plan to get to those today or tomorrow!

I'm thinking it's Sept 1.

:worship: How do you remember that?! I'm so impressed! Yes! September 1!

Isn't the scrunched up face adorable?! I love it. I know he's really having a good time when he does that-it's his real smile.

I had never seen that window lit up before either! I love those clever little details. Someday I'm going to spend more time on Main Street and really look at all the windows and what they say....or I'll just buy the book. ;)

Yes!

It's supposed to rain here today - and of course I wanted to take Henry and his playdate friend to the park! :headache:

It is that age when they start to have fears and a bit of logic - we are currently going through the "monster" stage too.

:rotfl: that's so funny about Michelle! That is just how Henry is too. He gets so LOOPY and silly when he's tired! He sometimes has a short meltdown right before sleep though too...I try to avoid those! LOL

that sucks. i am sorry that is what seemed to happen when we played softball this year.:sad1:

Thankfully it didn't rain too much-so we were able to hit the park! It's so frustrating though when there is something you want to do and the weather disrupts it!
