I wish they would hurry up and open the store. But I agree I love everything and want it all. I wish they had more of this kind of merchandise at the parks.

Its open. They did a DVC member preview this morning. Very cute stuff...many will enjoy it.

I just looked at it all and I am quite excited. I have a feeling I might go broke if I go into the Centerpiece store!

So looking forward to checking this out next month when we are there! Are the food trucks in place and open as well? We saw a few when we were there in April but it didn't appear that they were in their permanent home.

I just got back from the store opening...quite by accident. The DVC preview must have been before the grand opening. I ran downtown Disney to get some Magic Bands for an upcoming trip with my nieces and nephews and had to walk past. They had queues up and a fair amount of people in it. When I finished with my purchases the woman in the pin shop told me it opens at 10:45 so I went over and they had opened up the side areas for guests to wait as well. About 10:30 Isabella (the fashionista of Downtown Disney) came out and did an introduction and then the Ambassador of DTD and a VP? I think talked briefly and then Mickey and he cut the ribbon with cannons shooting out thousands of the oversized Mickey icons...that may have been the most exciting part for me. I stayed outside and collected a bunch of those while the others entered the store.

I did go in and bought some things in the Centerpiece room. There was a huge line for the Vera Bradley and people at the registers in front of me were buying large amounts (my guess would be to resell) as one of them was a teen boy at one register and his mom with a stack at the other. I would maybe like one but it's not critical to me.

The store was filled with CMs, suits, etc.

The Trophy room has generic sports tshirts and Disney themed ones but I didn't see any ESPN stuff. The Zoey and Pickles looked like to be the TrendD for the younger set. I loved the Centerpiece area and wished there was more there. The TechD I just glanced through and if that is your thing I am sure you would like it. Then there was a Beautifully Yours (or something like that) room with makeup etc that wasn't as busy but still nice.

Same thing happened to me this morning! Went to renew my AP and saw the line. Walked thru for a minute..it is a nice store. I could not believe the people coming out of there with bags and bags of Vera!

I think the preview for DVC was this morning very early. It was not open at all until today.
