Mark Twain Refurbishment

Does anyone know why the Mark Twain is being closed "indefinitely?" Several websites are showing that the Mark Twain will be closed Nov 3 - indefinite.

And how long is "indefinite" in Disneyland terms. Sleeping Beauty castle has been closed indefinitely for years, will the same be true for the Mark Twain? Even Space Mountain has an end date.

I found that to be odd too. But I think this is only because they are not sure of the repair needed and do not want to post a date and have to continually change it.
