Marine siblings?? (or other armed forces)

Hello, I know the DIS has to have members who have siblings that are in the Marines or other armed forces.

So I am wondering who that is.

I just found out that my brothers basic training has been moved from September to 2 weeks so I was just wondering who you all handled it.

Do we have some kind of support group here, maybe on the other thread?

How about on the board up top, Christine? I forget the name of it, but it's sandwiched between the Congratulations/Birthday board and the first page of the CB. I wanted to mention that to you before but I forgot. :hug:

Oh yeah, I just wanted to add: my ex was in the USMC and stationed in Vietnam during the war, and my brother was drafted into the army and did his tour of duty in Vietnam as a "grunt", one of the foot soldiers who saw combat. As one sister of a man who was fighting in a war, to another's who may ... big, big, big, GIANT {{{{Hugs}}}} to you. :hug:

United We Stand is the name of the board, but feel free to post here on the CB too, as there are lots of us military families here. My DH is in the Air Force, has been military for 20 years now.

One piece of advice that your brother will REALLY appreciate you following while he is in basic---DO NOT send him any packages from home, especially with food in them!! This never ends well, lol.

there are many of us who have family members who are in the military. Everyone is great about answering questions that you may have, ( I know 1st hand because I have asked many). Just ask away because I am sure out of all of the people here, someone can help you!! Give DB our best wishes during his time in basic!
