We would LOVE to meet up for the expo and/or dinner the night before the race. but I have no suggestions as I am not real familiar with the options.

Krista and I would be up for meeting at the expo. I don't think we'll be able to do dinner the night before as we'll be with my sister and brother-in-law, but we'd definitely be up for the expo. And on marathon morning, I'm hoping we could all meet up somewhere pre-race for a little WISH team support!

Have you all seen the new MCM merchandise on the MCM website?
Long sleeve shirts and capris look really cute but I don't want to look like an idiot on race day. Perhaps if?when I finish I'll get something.
Any ideas what the weather will be like?

Joanne~ Good question... I looked on the Marine Corps Marathon website and didn't see anything about historical weather. However, I found this in a Blog for last year's race... it should be helpful in giving you an idea about temps.

Marine Corps Marathon weather
In keeping with my usual obsession with the weather at long events, I've been checking out forecasts leading up to Marine Corps Marathon in two weeks.

The long-term forecast isn't out for race day yet, but it's still looking pretty warm for at least the next 10 days:

70*F to 82*F for the highs, lows only down to 50-53*F.

Here's the climatological data on race day(last year), just in case you were wondering - yeah, if it's full sun and no wind and 65 degrees, that can feel pretty darned hot on those 4-lane concrete roads when you're trying to run:

Record Low 25°F
Normal High 65°F
Normal Low 40°F

I'm so excited to see everyone there! Krista and I are flying into BWI and arriving around 8:30am on Saturday. We'll be driving to Falls Church, VA, that morning to stay with my sister and BIL. So we're pretty open to any time on Saturday that you all want to meet at the expo.
