Oh come on. Why are you so angry?

That is so funny!Oh, me either. And I've keep my flammable political views to myself, as to why I really think it's illegal too. My momma didn't raise no idiot. A reformed pot-head maybe, but no idiot.![]()
You know, I was at a Dave Matthews concert about three years ago with my now 21 year old, and a woman came up and stood beside me and lit up a joint. She then proceeds to hand it to me (This in the outdoor theater in The Woodlands) and ask if I want some.
I mentioned to her that this was my daughter standing next to me, and she laughs and says, "Why do you think I'm back here? My daughter is sitting down right there."
I almost died. There's 17 - 20 year daughter being a good girl, and here's 40 year old mom getting stoned up on the hill!
And before anyone asks, no, I didn't take a hit.![]()
Oh, and you'd have to be on crack to buy that load.![]()

Instead of wading into the debate (because I swore I wouldn't on this topic again after going completely ballistic) I'm just going to gently urge people to do a little research both ways and I don't mean opening up a politically active website, I mean cracking opn a few medical journals (they're not as impenetrable as they sound!). Cannabis has both plus points and bad points, more on each side than most think.
It makes interesting, sometimes scary and sometimes enlightening reading.

Rich, since there's so much info to wade through out there and you seem knowledgable, would you mind posting some links or PMing them to me??
I did read your article with great interest. I learned something new.
Thank you!
Well, I did a short degree report which you can access here:
http://www.seratis.net/page16/page7/page7.html
It mainly focuses on the bad side of cannabis, so do remember that there are good sides to the drug (as a medical treatment, for instance, cannabis has several tangible benefits; the same goes (believe it or not) for other drugs, particularly ecstacy).
Rich::

Deleted, because I don't think I got my point across the way I wanted to.

Seriously? Ecstasy? See... that stuff scares the crap out of me. Drowning yourself in water? That's just too out there for me.
Darn I missed it.![]()

You know, I can't for the life of me remember which condition is eased with ecstacy. It was a disorder where movement became very painful and an ecstacy tablet seems to relieve sufferers of the pain.
Rich::

Either that, or you're too stoned to care. I can see a bunch of elderly, arthritic people on X.
I would be very scared for information to be made public touting the benefits of hard-core drugs.
I guess it's no different than those who are scared of people like me saying they think marijuana is benign.
I hate it when I give myself an epiphany.![]()

Yeah, that demon weed is gonna kill me. If the cancer doesn't first that is. You go ahead and jump off that cliff, I think I'll just sit here and spark one up and watch![]()
