Marie's Clothes on Everybody Loves Raymond

I have been watching Everybody Loves Raymond for many, many years and I have always envied and admired Marie's garments. Her clothes are so flattering on her and the blouses really make the outfits. Also, the matching pins and earrings complete the look.

I basically look just like her, the same little dumpling body, the short, squatty build, even practically the same face, only with darker hair. I think her outfits would work well for me, but I've never been able to find any blouses like that! It's so frustrating! Where the heck can I find those blouses?

I've even thought about finding a "seamstress" to make some for me, since I don't have the time or skill to do it myself; however, I've never used a seamstress before. Woud I just say...make me some blouses like Marie's?

Any thoughts or reflections? Are there any other members of the "Marie Admiration Society" out there?

P.S. I also love Marie's menus and home decor.

I watch it all the time now! I love it! My favorite is the suitcase episode and the one when Marie tries to take over Amy's shower and Debra gets arrested.

In a case like this, it may have been something googled about Marie's clothing and this thread popped up so the poster decided to comment wondering where she could find these blouses. The date of the OP may not have even been on her radar.

Why do so many people on here freak out when an old thread is revived? They act like it's the worse thing someone could've done. They even take the time to post on that old thread to tell everyone that they think it's weird everyone is posting on an old thread!

Like another poster said, someone googled the topic, saw the thread and joined the group in order to participate. Nothing sinister going on at all.

I don't know I think it is a toss up between Robert being taken by the modeling agency and when Marie left Frank for the day and he was eating eggs and salsa in his boxers. I was never a fan of Ray or Debra but love all the episodes that focus on Frank/Robert/Marie.

One of my other favorites is the one where Ray convinces Robert to fake incompetence to get out of doing wedding planning duties.

"Freaking out" is a figure of speech, and admittedly an exaggeration. But it never fails, someone always has to bring up the fact that it's odd that an old thread was revived.

From what I remember, she wore a black shirt, black pants and a colorful jacket each episode. The jacket with the accessories was what made her look so colorful. Plus of course the jacket is slimming and covers many flaws.
