In her religion, people are married for eternity (Morman), so I don't quite understand how she is even able to divorce.![]()
It's amazing how privy we all are to Marie Osmond's personal religious life!
Do we know if she is still allowed to practice her religion? Do we know how she practices her religion? Do we even know if, as an adult, she still chooses to practice the Mormon religion? Many of us who were raised in one religion as a child have chosen to practice another religion as an adult.
And yet we are so ready to jump on the "organized religion sucks" bandwagon...even though we really don't know the answer to any of these questions.
Kind of amazing.

Yes, salvation can be bought if you have the money.
Gotta love organized religion!
That's what I thought. I wonder if an ordinary Morman citizen attempted two divorces, what the church reaction would be
I guess I just think religious issues should be between oneself and one's god.

My step grandfather was Mormon, had no money, was an ordinary citizen and had been divorced 3-4 times when he married my grandmother. He actually married 1x lady 2 times. I think they actually divorced both times, but I know she died several yrs before he met my grandmother. He actually attended a Baptist church wiht my grandmother, but went back to the Mormon church when she died. When he died the Mormon church performed their burial rites the night before his Baptist funeral. My family insisted he have a baptist funeral "because the funeral is for those in mounring". I don't beleive any of daughters are practicing Mormons. They and his grandsons came up from FL and attended the Baptist funeral.
I always thought otherwise but I guess I'm wrong. It's amazing how privy we all are to Marie Osmond's personal religious life!

Apparently I am the only person who thinks this.
Notice I didn't say the offending "we" again...as instructed
