We will be in the universal area on Sat and are going to Margaritaville for dinner. I was wondering what other think of this resteraunt and what they had! :)

Margaritaville is one of the most raved about and popular spots in Citywalk. Many on this board will tell you how much they love it. Why? Atmosphere. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing.

Oh yeah, the food is good too. ;)

Margaritaville's atmosphere is great! I am a parrothead and could stay there all day and night. Our kids ages 7 & 9 love it there too. On Saturday night, there will probably be people walking around on stilts making balloon hats. Kids (and adults) have a great time with that. I hope you get to see the volcano erupt too.

I found this link to their menu:

Click on Orlando, then on "menu" at the left.

Have fun!

This restuarant is my favorite. The atmosphere is great and the food is great too. The only thing I would not suggest would be a mixed drink. It was very, very, weak.

I had a crab cake sandwich and it was wonderful. My son had the cheeseburger in paradise and my daughter had spaghetti and meatballs. I have to rave about the spaghetti, I tasted my daughters and thought it was excellent. I am a real spaghetti sauce snob, because I make a mean spaghetti sauce myself, but this was superb. I couldn't believe it was only on the kids meal! I can't remember what DH had, but he liked it and we returned the day after and all had the same things. It is wonderful to go for lunch when it is not crowded and have a nice cold beer with your meal. Enjoy!

Everyone loves this place. It gets rave reviews. It is always hoppin'!!!!

If you plan on driving, don't have one of the "Ultimate Margaritas."

I actually think it's straight kerosene, but I haven't been able to prove it.

And the conch fritters rule.

We were there this past July and loved it. I had the salmon, my niece had a burger and my brother had chicken (i think) it was great. Very relaxing and the drinks are on the money!

Well thanks everyone for you reviews!!!! :teeth:
Im really excited!! Just hope our girls have fun adn do their best!! (cheer competition!! :))

My 6 yr old daughter loves this place! We sit on the porch at nite and listen to the live singer, allways have had good food and service!!!:wave2:

Do they take reservations? We'd like to go on our first night (Sat)
It seems like an extremely popular place - In your expreiences, what time would be good to go for dinner?

curly :wave2:

Yes they do have reservations if you want to sit inside ,on the porch its first come first served.... We usually get ther 8-9 at nite and its really packed!:)

OMG i love margaritville and long to get back on that porch of indecision.LOL That's my favorite part of the trips. Love the live music and just soooo relaxing and that ulitmate margarita ain't bad either ;) The food is great we have not every had anything bad there. We've tried all the appetizers and they are yummy. My must do's there are the corn clam chowder soup AMAZING! And the Vocano Nachos And we usually spiit a hamburger. Just way to much fun. They do not short you on the food here. The desserts are great but usually there is not room for them. Our favorite dessert in all of the the parks/citywalk is at the port of entry those awesome funnel cakes with icecream hot chocolate sauce nuts and whip topping ooh yeah baby.

Ressie's are not taken last i was told. We flip our key cards from the hotel and it's a minimum 15 minute wait we are usually seated next. But we love the porch and prefer it over the inside once you been inside the outside is just as lively esp at night. I love to get there about 9 when the parks are closing and the entertainer is there on the porch he's great and watch some folks dance it's just fun.

Hate to disagree we were able to get ressies thru city walk restraunts reservations when we were there thanksgiving and the week before christmas.Maybe it was just the holidays though, and yes those rpr room keys do come in handy! It could have very possible been a fluke we were able to get them ,as one time we checked with city walk reservations they said margville was blocked out one nite we checked...something about a christmas party or a wedding i think was the line we were given! But the porch was still open to first come first serve!
